I swear this is the successor to Cenozoic survival. It better have kelenkens, wooly rhinos, and glyptodonts. I also the LOVE the cat design, as saber tooth’s were more closely related to bobcats
This game was based on certain ecosystem of LA Brea tar pits in California 20. 000 years ago. Kelenken by that time was extinct, wooly rhinos and glyptodons didn't inhabited la Brea, but there will be iconic animals such as short faced bear, American black bear, American lion, Columbian mammoth, pacific mastodon, golden eagle ect
@@wildguy4773 did any species of ground sloths terror birds, or any sort of oddball creatures live in la Brea.? Sorry I’m not used to la brea species. I’m more into the dinosaur sort and yadda yadda
@@wildguy4773actually I looked it up, new evidence shows that glyptodonts and woolly rhinos have been found in la brea
Kelenken and all other terror birds went extinct long before this game, woolly rhinos lived in a completely different part of the world and the latest specimens for rhinos in America are 5 million years old, and glyptodonts did not extend far enough into America based on what we currently know
@@nojorooneyactually they did. Them and other xentherians lived as far up as Wyoming. Glossotherium, megaloyx, and glyptotherium are some examples. New fossils have been found of glyptodonts in the pits

@@CNS7272 Like it or not that style of gameplay is incredibly popular, and CS was never a finished game and never will be. Devs learn a lot from previous experiences and their communities, so if you have feedback you might wanna say exactly what's wrong with the gameplay or what you'd like to see so they can improve those features in particular

They’re trying to make an ecosystem this time, so it will be more balanced than a kelenken killing everything for example.
Wild Savanna in a nutshell:
the sabers are designed to be really difficult to survive as so that beginners will play as dire wolves
Oh nah, Yellowstone is worst, there’s wolf packs of like 15 and sometimes there’s 2 packs combined into a pack of like 35-25

Ohh I love the naming going with the La Brea Tar Pits, easy for people to connect with all the history there and lots of info on what may have lived in the area to accurately build an ecosystem

@@catpfp-s5k that’s so mean of them lol, thanks for answering. I hope cause of all the backlash they may change their mind and add a simple system of babies for only a couple of species. Not the whole roster lol but the game looks incredibly impressive that’s like the only thing it would be missing.
There was also the American lion that existed in la brea so I really hope they add that!!!!

I’m so excited for this year! I will always be playing this and I will main smilo, bison and horse for obvious reasons. I hope they add babies 🎉. This is most likely be the best animal roblox game and i cant believe its coming this year! I am so hyped for the release and will be 100% spending all my robux on this
i just hope we have more variety of animals compared to the current cenozoic survival, more reptiles and birds especially is what i would love to see as playable choices
I doubt we will have any large playable lizards let alone carnivorous ones, but maybe some snakes could make it in. As for birds there’s a lot more you could do there, teratornis and the woodward’s eagle could carve out the niches of apex scavenger and aerial predator respectively, as well as a lot of other birds that could be added like the wild turkey
@@nojorooney they will only add animals that existed in la brea, it's a certain ecosystem build, idk if the animals you suggested co existed with these guys
@@firegator6853 both teratornis and the Woodward’s eagle lived in la brea, and the game being in la brea is also exactly why I wouldn’t hold my breath about playable reptiles
@@firegator6853 that’s why I stated that we probably won’t be getting any large, carnivorous, playable lizards even though the komodo dragon and megalania are two examples of large carnivorous apex predatory lizards but they can’t be in the game as well as a lot of other large reptiles because this game takes place in la brea

I still have my hopes up for cs, it's a peak game, very realistic and I love it's idea
Why you have to bring up cs… it’s Ecos time! Not trying to talk badly of cs, but Ecos happens to be a way better idea than the former. I can definitely understand why they quit it for something new.

CS is not coming back, Ecos is the only thing being worked on

@@NewbieTuesday cenozoic had a mix of animals from different times and countries, ecos is set in 1 place in 1 time. i personally liked cenozoic's idea more but ecos looks fun

i think theres not much aquatics cuz its based on California/mexico fauna
Maybe on the New map (i hope) to still have coastal biome, and maybe the Cave Bear (Ursus spelaeus) if the location is based on California Mexico fossil site such has La Brea Tar pits formation and the Diamond valley Lake formation, the cave bear could be replace by Grizzly Bear or black bear and they will be the only semi aquatics creature confirmed because they have already the sets of animation, rigs, ... of the cave bear or they could replace him with Arctodus simus (giant short-faced bear) to play an extinct species a Pleistocene epoch Bear 😊

I’m not a dev so I can’t tell you for sure but I highly doubt we are getting any sea creatures, and the only semi aquatics that I could see being added are gators and small mammalian semi aquatics like otters and beavers as well as possibly large fish at the very most but I could be wrong

Buying skins is very bad, only bad opinion about this tbh. I just liked the randomized variations you got in the wolves, buying them and completing tasks are things i very much dislike about this. But everything else looks amazing like wow the hud and the new scent and everything is amazing
I’m not keen on it either but I’m still hyped for the game, as long as you don’t have to buy the playable creatures or complete tasks in order to grow if that’s mandatory, I’m fine with it (even if they did add those features I’d still probably play though)
I hope elephants or any other big mammal can be playable cuz those are so cool!

La brea was home to mammoths, mastodons, camels, bison (as shown in the trailer) the short faced bear, moose, American lions, and many other prehistoric megafauna so I’d definitely say you’re in luck

The roaster seem kind of small for now, but very good one, the model and design are excellent (as fro accuracy and pattern), very inspired by paleoart.
Peccaries will be added as AI but we don’t know if they will be playable

The combination of prior extinction and cenozoic survival is awesome! Graphics and quality and animals from cenozoic survival mean that ecos might replace prior extinction to be the best animal survival game!

i have mixed feelings about this to say the least, im not a fan of the mesh models at all and how this will have mobile support. but ill always have a special place in my heart for cs classic
i completely agree. meshes just dont really look great, especially the animations. plus cs just has a charm that this game might not accomplish
The game looks absolutely amazing already! It's just a bummer that we'll have to buy skins instead of randomly spawning with one, but even then a majority of games have that same system don't they? It's probably something people are more familiar with but I certainly hope the skins will be easier to earn than other games :)
I have no problem with cartoony graphics. My problem was always the models and animations in roblox animal games. But those models, those animations. Looks promising! Can't wait to play...

@@CobwebsCricket_ there is sometimes we can accept it, like if u get a calf and the mother come to fight you back that's realistic ( Personally i'll be ok with that situation ) or even when u are a pred and a stronger one steal your food, yeah that's accurate but if you are just eating in peace and random player come to kill you, like whaaaat😐
