- A playthrough of Episode 4, Mission 7 of Ultimate Doom (And Hell Followed) on the Ultra-Violence difficulty for the PC. This is played through ZDoom. 100% kills, 100% items, and 100% secrets.

The last level... Holy shitttt... Im 35 years old... I played as a teen and couldn't beat many levels... No internet for walk throughs... I grew up.. Had a family.. Job... Priorities and responsibilities.... Just recently downloaded doom on xbox 1.... N here is your brilliantly detailed videos... Helping me finish unfinished youthful nostalgia... Thank you SIR. 💪👹🔥💯

Now, I'm saying this as an agnostic but that is one badass verse. whether you're a Christian or not whether you like the bible or not that is an undoubtedly cool and badass verse
My great grandpa had a painting of the four horsemen with their riders. It was pretty bad-ass.
Wow, that does sound so badass, bad-to-the-motherfuckin-ass more like. I just really like the four horseman cause they're just so awesome, which is part of why Darksiders interests me so much.... I really need to steal it from my sister sometime so I can play it.... XD
The book of Revelations has a lot of bad-ass verses in it. It's filled with a lot of cool apocalyptic shit.

What kind of troll designed some of these levels that you cannot have 100% secrets without noclip cheat ?
What’s the most you can get without that idclip cheat? 50%?

@@justintrivett6620 Yeah, on E4M7 you can have 50% legit secrets, although some guy found a way to have 75% secrets on UV or higher by using the Cyberdemon rocket salvo attack to get credit for the thin door one. But so far, the maximum remains on 50%.
Romero apparently loved to troll players.

Another inaccessible secret? Damn you, Id Software, what's with all your troll designers?
Fun fact: In GZDoom (fork of discontinued ZDoom source port) these inaccessible secrets are removed and now it is possible to get 100% secrets (also in E4M3 and in Doom 2 map 15 Industrial Zone) without a hassle.

Great gameplay BigMacDavis! That Cyberdemon was really easy to kill, and the placement of the secret on the platform with the Invulnerability was weird, but this map is good after all. Looking forward to the last map of Episode 4 and Ultimate Doom as well!

This walkthrough helped on the Xbox 360 version except that some of the secrets aren’t in the same spot. But still thanks for making this!!

Since you were playing through zdoom, you could reach the secret in the Cyberdemon's room by jumping. No need for the cheat code, you can jump up to where the invulnerability sphere is placed.
For some reason when opened the wall with the invulnerability it wasn't there. Maybe its because I'm playing on Xbox 360. Either way I'm really enjoying playing along with these videos, thanks for making them.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE STAGE IN THE WHOLE GAME
It's funny because I was playing on hurt me plenty and that part with the cyber demon clearly looked ominous enough to be a cyber demon encounter. So I was bracing myself for it. Only to realise that on hmp the cyber demon has been replaced by a baron of hell which made this easy level even more of a breeze

You're right about your decision. I'll never stop to watch cartoons/anime as well. Even my mother (she is almost 30+ years older than me) still like to watch some cartoons and animes so far!
But, a thing that the documentary that I watched shows is "sad but true" (Metallica reference... xD). It point the lack of good cartoons and animes currently. The most clear example is what Cartoon Network was 10 years ago and what it is today. That's why MLP is so successful, from what I saw.

Is there any point of getting passed those crushers in the west-end hall way? There's a telelport right at the end which allows you to exit, so I see no point this?

A rebuttal: the lag went a way for a while, so it might not be zdooms fault. And, you can do all kinds of cool stuff such as: make spectres visible (which I did), jump, crouch, and mouse look

It's literally the same application as ZDooM, the only distinction being that it uses OpenGL for rendering, rather than other, more "conventional" methods.
The open-source community calls this kind of an application a "fork" - i.e., somebody took the source code of one application, added something they needed into it, and created an application of it's own (i.e. they "forked" it). I hope this makes sense.
You can get that secret on 7:50 if you get hit by an enemy.

That Cyberdemon is the easiest ever to kill! Some of those enemies knew you were coming, they did get the jump off you! Why would they tag the platform with the 2nd Invulnerability as a secret? Doesn't make sense!

Yes. The cartoons/animes that I like comes from the 90's to backwards. And the cartoons/animes that I like today are based on successful past cartoons/animes, like Thundercats, Saint Seiya, Justice League, and many OVA's from successful animes. The only exception is Naruto, that began on 2003 and still is running.
And Metallica is my favourite band of all times, by the way... xD

Still wondering if that inaccessible secret cannot be accessed through being "pushed" by a Cyberdemon rocket similarly to being "pushed" by a Pain Elemental in the secret teleporters in Doom II map 15 and Plutonia map 27(?)
You're actually not being pushed by the pain elemental. You're being pushed by the lost soul spawning inside of you, and that is what pushes you into the inaccessible sector. With a Cyberdemon, it's impossible for the rocket to spawn inside of you, so at this point, it's impossible.
@@BigMacDavis thank you, I did not know that. Always keen to learn something new about Doom. My thoughts were that this map was designed by dr. Sleep and he was a brilliant mapmaker, so I somehow do not want to believe that he would create a completely inaccessible secret. But it seems that he did.

Re the Cyberdemon: Is it really easier than the one you telefragged back in E4M2?
Telefragging is the easiest kill. Unless, you get extremely unlucky, and you telefrag the Cyberdemon right as he fires a rocket. Cuz that rocket will hit you.

I think the Cyberdemon is supposed to be hard to kill if you don't know there's a secret wall with the invulnerability; I don't think that would be the easiest cyberdemon in the game in that cramped up room with no invulnerability and behind bars that will splash damage you to death.

Of course it can, man. If it can do d3d9, it can do OpenGL with no trouble at all.
This is probably the main reason why I use GZDooM rather than any other source port. It uses OpenGL by default, rather than ddraw/SDL/etc.

AFAIK, zDoom actually has nothing to do with OpenGL. To use OpenGL graphics you'd need GZDoom, a zDoom mod, which adds OpenGL features to zDoom. As for freezes themselves, again, AFAIK, it's a sound system issue (specifically - something with mmsystem.dll and media software conflicts, but I'm not sure).

I'll explain to you, since I'm formed in Systems Analysis and IT.
Basically, it's a faster type of network connection technology. You, probally like me, uses a ADSL connection to access the Internet. But a fiber optic broadband is much more advanced, because it uses optical fiber cables to make the communication, and that makes the connection speed faster. Look for "Fiber-optic communication" on Wikipedia to understand better the subject or talk to me, if you wish.
Well, on your first playthrough this map actually has quite a few gimmicky surprises and is not that easy at all.

Changing the subject, yesterday I watched a documentary about MLP history and the brony community. Now I'm beginning to understand why the bronies has grown up so quickly in the last 3 years. It's a similar process that occured to people who likes anime/manga, like me, but in a different time, since anime/manga exists since the 60's (Speed Racer, for example) and the modern MLP exists since 2010.
I have many questions to ask about it BMD, but these will wait until the 1K Q&A video.
