In this video we will cover the symptoms of a leaking fuel injector on gasoline car / petrol car. If you suspect that you have leaking fuel injector it is very important to fix the leaking fuel injector as soon as possible because leaking fuel injector car destroy your engine. People do not think it is a big deal to have leaking fuel injector, but if it is leaking too much and if not fixed on time it can lead to engine failure due to variety of reasons. We demonstrated the symptoms of leaking fuel injector on a 4 cylinder engine, but even if you have 6 cylinder engine or 8 cylinder engine the symptoms of leaking fuel injector will be the same. Hard to believe what damage a leaky injector can do to a working engine.
I have a strong smell of gasoline and rough idle upon starting engine. I'm guessing that it's going to be injector problem after watching this video.

I think I'm having this issue as well. Full blown mechanic like you all but this is an issue I haven't come across yet.
Black smoke on startup
Backfires like gunshots idling after startup
High rpms that drop to nearly 300 or stall
Severe misfire and loss of power
Flooring equals white smoke from the tail pipes
Brand new headgaskets, head bolts, coolant, oil
Injectors tick as they should but my oil smells gassy. I think this may be my issue
It only confused me because the care was running fine and then 20 mins later it's been doing this.

@@Yossarianhoenikker I thought I did by replacing the injectors.... Turned out it was the tune. I had spoken with my tuner but he had said it wasn't....I told him I bought bigger injectors and he scales them back...in reality, he scaled back the same injectors I had....problem solved

I'm wondering if you can determine which of the fuel injectors is actually leaking?
Scan car trim codes and see which injector is out of range compared to other injectors.
pull out your spark plugs..see if any are wet with gas....
Will this damage the catalytic converter?
Hello, I own a Kia Cerato 1.6 crdi 136 HP vehicle. My car is at 86,000 km. Diesel is mixed with the engine oil, the oil level is constantly rising. There is no problem in the operation of my vehicle, the idle is normal, there is no noticeable black or white smoke from the exhaust. It works immediately with a single start in the morning, there is no problem. The technician said it could be the DPF and he removed the DPF and cleaned it in the machine. The DPF was around 40% full, but it was still cleaned. But that was not the solution either. Engine oil level continues to rise in my vehicle. I think there is no problem with diesel injectors because there is no indication of injector failure. The vehicle engine has a timing chain. Could it be from the high pressure diesel pump seal? Or what could be the problem? Could you help? Have you ever heard of such a common problem for vehicles of this segment? Urgent. Thanks in advance
currently facing the exact same issue.everything is normal except for the rising oil level due to mixing with diesel.did u manage to get a solution?
