Your video sucks. describe what you are doing.
Oops, I accidentally did exactly those complicated steps. By accident. Thanks for letting me know not to do it again.
Thank you very much
When my copper tip needs cleaning I rub it with a small copper brush. you can buy a set of three wooden handled steel, copper and plastic brushes for one pound.
There are many ways to clean the soldering iron. I made a video to help people avoid unfortunate situations from happening. Thank you very much...👌👌👌
I just spent the better part of 2 hours instructing food court management AND their employees on the proper collection and handling of urine samples, treated like royalty I was.

Why in the what? Who's firs idea is to electroplate and on top of oxides nonetheless? Just use flux, a bit of copper wool and some solder. Even steel wool or some kitchen sponges (with a bit of water) will work in a pinch.
At lest gold plate the darn thing the next time. Great for a thumbnail.
Just do it, don't do it the way I do it
And the thing that actually works for new pieces is to wrap them with solder wire with flux, then turn the iron on and just wait until the wire melts. And if your old, heavily used soldering tip doesn't stick tin, it means it's dead and you need to replace it.
Thank you. I think my method is effective for copper soldering tips only
I would avod trying this yourself. Use a steel wool ball to clean next time.
Good luck. Follow me to watch other useful videos
