I like that you are very detailed in what you were doing I like that thanks.
Thanks for insight into blade maintenance for the Ariens.

Silly goose. NIce bloopers at the end. :) Thanks for the video. Very helpful. Now I have to buy a Bench Vice Clamp. Always something!! Joe
People seem to love the bloopers... :o)
Great information on your video
Thank you
Good job jo daddy
Very informational!!
Nice Job
Thank you!
Good video, Thanks
Helpful vid...Arnold also makes a cool gadget called blade removal tool...safer and less frustrating than trying to keep a piece of wood lodged between blade and deck..fwiw👍
Good video for people just learning the ins & outs on maintenance. Looks like the tool would work better on push mowers as the blades tend to be a bit thinner which would probably not create that step in the blade. I saw that a couple weeks back at Lowes and passed on it. For me it's just as easy to use a grinder and as long as you can get the angle needed it works great. And I can understand why you chose to use the breaker bar and wood as most people just don't have the tools you do. I had to laugh when you mentioned the torque specs for the nut and then just used the breaker bar, you must have a built in torque wrench built in to you arm. LOL
I'd bet this will help to tell folks out there, hey I can do that! 👍👍
I do have a torque setting in my arm. Inch and foot pounds. :)
Really nice video demo. Is it regular goggles that you were wearing and also could you please mentioned about the sanding disc specifications as well? What kind of air compressor you need to use this tool? Does pancake air compressor would work for the sanding disc or do I need higher air compressor for this tool to work for sanding? Thanks.
I always wear safety glasses. The sanding discs are 2" i believe. Available at Harbor Freight. These are 40 grit. They can be bought in a variety pack. Can't say for sure if the air compressor is big enough. I have a 60 gallon upright.
How does it balance after all those sharpening? They have to be equal.
How much pressure do you apply using the drill tool to avoid it skipping around?
Really hard to describe. It just takes some trial and error.
Goldberg's stunt double?
You are not angling your stone right that is why you have a shoulder
Just a FYI. You do not want a sharp / knife edge on the mower blades. I heard that was healthier for the grass blade. After getting them sharp you will want to knock the cutting edge down just a little bit.
Roger Cook said sharpen your blades. lol
I can't believe you don't have a air rinch. Man you are missing out.
I have a wide variety of tools. Impact guns and others. Not everyone has those or an air compressor.
@@jodaddysworkshop786 ok
@@jodaddysworkshop786 yes I right.
Good common sense. Didn't torque the blades when re installing.
They're torqued. German torque.
