Personally, I love the way my dogs smell…most of the time. A “normal” smelling dog is comforting to me, but when they stink, it can be awful. This leaves owners begging the question, why does my dog smell bad?

Remember that all dogs have unique aromas, and some breeds are smellier than others. Your dog’s unique smell comes from the oil on his skin.
While you may not like the natural aroma of your pup as much as I do, there is a distinct difference between the “normal” smell of a dog and a strong odor that’s caused by something other than his natural oils.

Thank you for these videos. I switched to fresh food for my dog; yes, I cook for her. I give her some yogurt for probiotics. I also leave the dog shampoo on for 5 minutes before rinsing. When I rinse her , then I rinse, again.
I started using dog shampoo with probiotics in it. I currently use Skout’s Honor products with prebiotic. I even use a probiotic spray on her paws and the odor is reducing. I recommend using dental rinse in the water bowl.
