    The search for good riding gear that does what it's supposed to and fits well can be frustrating. Have you considered budget gear? Is it any good? I'm reviewing, as a first impressions video, the MSR Voyager set from their Adventure gear line by RMATV.
    DISCLAIMER: while I am NOT affiliated nor sponsored by Rocky Mountain ATV in any way, they did send me this set after asking Dork in the Road if he had any friends that may be interested to try the new gear out. Thus the "paid sponsorship" label at the beginning of the video. My opinions are my own, and I was not paid to say anything in this video.

    I bought this exact gear a month ago. I'm very impressed with the comfort, ventilation and durability of it. I rode in 50-75degree weather and was comfortable the whole time. I never had a chance to test it in the rain. Geat review and you certainly confirmed I made the right purchase.

    Met you at the GLR last weekend with Dork in the road. Thanks for all the advice on Evo suspension

    It's probably the best value in ADV gear. No shit.

    Looks like great gear..... I am a fair weather rider and my Klime Dakar works just fine,. If I was to venture out in the NW winters I would for sure look into this gear.

    The venting looks great, curious how well the waterproofness is, especially for us PNW folks

    I advocate for budgeting on gear, but up in the great white north, we get hosed with product availability as there are not enough distributors importing new products.
    I enquired about this product; however, at the time, including the currency exchange, shipping, duty and taxes, financially, it saved a few bucks, but enough to warrant a purchase without trying it on. I picked up a Klim Carlsbad jacket (ordered from ChromeBurner and saved $200+) to match my Klim pants, which have survived two years of abuse.
    And yes, lighter colours are the way to go!
    One day, I'll be ready for new gear, and hopefully, by then, some importer will have the goods; otherwise, a road trip will be required!

    Hey, nice quick review and thanks for posting this. Although I do have some gear already, these look interesting. I'm curious though, except for the included pads, are the pants and jacket CE rated?

      In America, the clothing itself is not required to be rated CE. It does have high abrasion resistance at the slide points just the same.

    Very good review. I’m looking for a second set of gear. I saw a few riders wearing them at Giant Loop. The pants look baggy but that is just my observations. How were they in the wind and just walking around? They definitely are the right price. Thanks Travis for the review

    How are you liking the Krios Pro helmet? I really love the lightness and the transitions face shield, but the wind noise is awful. Even with ear plugs it can be annoying. This could all be due to my wind screen, head height etc. How is your's for wind noise on the AT?

    • @ExploreAdventureMoto
      @ExploreAdventureMoto  Рік тому +4

      It’s loud but once in awhile I can ride without plugs in. Generally when I’m not on the freeway. My non-pro Krios was louder because it’s a bit larger size than I technically wear. My Pro is the correct size and thus, quieter. Most adv helmets will be louder than road helmets. Wind on the AT hits me just about right at the peak. Buffeting isn’t bad and I’m not sure what many others are talking about needing all kinds of wind baffles and what not. It’s a bike. Your in the wind. Save your money on farkles and Enjoy it

      I love my Krios Pro...... I thought it was loud also but when going back to my old helmet I was like yeah not so bad... love the transition lense and the fid lock is one of the reasons I bought the pro..... old fingers hate the d rings....... 😀
