Why are you watching the same movie, acting like it's your first time? 😂 and then coming after another reaction of yours, you just need mental help my guy. Idk why all of these fans of yours are still even here 🤣 just giving him views he already had with another channel, but ofcourse, these people dont have much of an IQ
The opening montage is famous for getting people to cry. It's an incredible example of storytelling, the first 10 minutes of this movie, and the majority of the story is told with no words. Gets my eyes welling up every gosh darn time.
To me, the most emotional part of the film was when Mr. Fredrickson turns the scrap book page that Ellie marked, "Stuff I'm Going To Do". His whole life, he thought he'd failed her, that she was unhappy because she didn't get to fulfill her "true" dreams of traveling. But all she really wanted was a life with him. When he realizes this, my heart breaks and swells at the same time, every time. He finally discovered that her dreams had come true (except becoming a mother, but she accepted it and moved on with grace), and that all of his efforts to take the house to Paradise Falls, were pointless. Their life together WAS her adventure.
Agreed. I can’t believe how heartwarming and sad this movie is. It’s also so funny and tender at the same time. Great freaking movie. Thanks for the reaction. THIMBS UP ALL! SHOW SOME LOVE!
I feel like the reason Carl didn’t ever flip the page after "Stuff I'm Going To Do" is because he couldn’t bear to flip the page and still find them empty. And you can tell by that scene that Carl truly believed the pages were going to be blank, but they weren't. They were filled with pictures of them and their life together because that was her adventure. That scene always breaks my heart and leaves me sobbing
A lot of people heard of a "snipe" for the first time by watching this movie, and think it was created for the movie itself. But sending someone on a "snipe hunt" has been a common prank for a very, very long time. It was typically played on people during their first hunting trip, and was sort of a rite of passage. Everyone had a different description of what the fictional creature looked like. The kid actually believed that the bird was a snipe, but because they were traveling such a wild, untouched area, it was actually just an incredibly rare species; so rare that no one had seen one before, except the old explorer who had been killing them, as seen in the opening news reel of the skeleton that scientists at the time didn't believe was real. He had wiped them out to near extinction.
@@cp368productions2 yes, I have heard of snipes (my mom is a die-hard birder). The point was, though, that the term was used as a fictional species to prank unknowledgeable people in a group. They used crazy descriptions to ensure the "victim" would never find their version of the snipe. ♥️
The tennis balls on the bottom of the Kane are for people who don't need the cane for total support. There to cover the rubber on the bottom so it can slide instead of stick.
@Devin as I always tell you in another 5 to 10 years you will remember this " The ONLY films you will remember and seek out to watch and watch and watch are those who move you emotionally. I lost y wife 2 years ago after 17 years we watched Hondo and when I woke up she had passed in my arms hours before..... Love the people you love, Hug them, tell them until they want to push you away... as life can change i the blink of an eye..... The first 5 minutes are so well done and so powerful. I say this all the time Devin thank you for always seeking out new films to love and for the community here. Best wishes Sir, have a good weekend.
The music is done by composer Michael Giacchino. He is famous for his work on movies like 'The Incredibles' 1&2, Rogue One, The Star Trek Trilogy, 'Mission Impossible' 3&4, The Jurassic World Trilogy, and many others! Without his subtle musical touch throught this movie, we wouldn't be so immediately and intensely enthralled by the story and it's characters.
Now that Christmas is coming up I wanted to recommend two of my favorite movies. Klaus is a heartwarming animated movie, I cry every time I watch it. The Man Who Invented Christmas is a wonderful story about Charles Dickens writing a Christmas Story.
If You Pay Attention, The Reason Dug Is Able To Locate The Bird(Kevin) Is Because He's A Hunting/Sporting Dog!! The Others Are More Protection/Guard Dogs!!
Ok I came to the comments and other videos of his to see if anyone else noticed this. I swear I saw him react to this with his wife or girlfriend. Another was definitely forest Gump. But I can no longer find that channel or video……..
I agree with the rest: This is the most brutal start in any movie..including all war movies I watch. This was the only movie (when it came out) where I literally was on the floor crying and my wife had to get me up and I needed an hour to recover....
Its funny growing up in Missouri I always heard the joke of snipe hunting they never tried to get me to go in the woods at night with a flashlight and a bag but they are real and come through here which is the funny part lol
Russel isnt lazy, hes a kid. Ive never heard of a kid in any time period being happy to walk long distances or do chores lmao. My grandmother walked to church and school by foot everyday in the 1920s and she can admit to complaining lmao
im a sap so a lot of movies get me but "up" and pixar in general really twist the knife. their house ending up where they always wanted it is so beautiful i have to excuse myself from the room
Let me know if you would like to add a balloon to the fence of the real Up house that the film is based on. I pass by it daily and always add a balloon. It is a Seattle icon now. Everyone brings balloons to it

The most brutal opening 10 minutes ever.

No matter how many times we watch this film I will ALWAYS cry at the start 🫶
I cry through did before, I do now even more that I felt that loss of purpose, and loss of love.
Agreed. I can’t believe how heartwarming and sad this movie is. It’s also so funny and tender at the same time. Great freaking movie. Thanks for the reaction. THIMBS UP ALL! SHOW SOME LOVE!
Russell is the most underrated Disney character of all time.

Snipes actually are real, they are small birds that live on beaches. Look up snipe and you will get the information on them.

I swear I haven't had my heart broken so thoroughly in ten minutes since I first saw this movie
The tennis balls help the walker slide over the floor.
Without scratching the floor

The voice of the Rottweiler is Delroy Lindo, who is a great actor

I'm sorry for your loss
@@JayReeves-ql8cr Thanks for your humanity
Tennis balls on walkers is to stop floor damage
Russell's parent are divorced, he lives with his Mother. And since his Dad remarried (Phyllis) he doesn't spend much time with him.

Not sure about the people but the story of the house is true. They build buildings around an old couples home who wouldn't sell.
a beautiful story with more serious subject, it hit hard.
Now that Christmas is coming up I wanted to recommend two of my favorite movies. Klaus is a heartwarming animated movie, I cry every time I watch it. The Man Who Invented Christmas is a wonderful story about Charles Dickens writing a Christmas Story.
The beginning brings tears to my eyes every time

Up deals with real life feelings.
Great movie! Another suggestion for a Disney film I recommend checking out is The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Such an underrated movie ❤️
Paradise falls. = ANGEL FALLS. Venezuela
Getting ready to watch with ya. You are not ready for this!
Everyone seems to be doing scary movie reactions, I would much rather watch this!!
I love this movie. My wife and I see ourselves and each other's Carl and Ellie. Also, your gasp when Dug spoke was great lol
Please watch Monsters University, it's like a prequel to Monsters Inc..
I lost my soulmate 5 years ago at the age of 30. This movie hits much harder since, but I still love it.
I wasn’t prepared watching this one for the first time

The opening i always cry and ive seen this probably ten times.

Ok I came to the comments and other videos of his to see if anyone else noticed this. I swear I saw him react to this with his wife or girlfriend. Another was definitely forest Gump. But I can no longer find that channel or video……..
Such a damn good movie.
One of the better if not the best animated movie
First time seeing it. This movie is really good.
I was surprised to hear it cames from Disney, at the end. 😅
Nice reaction, as always.😉

Moster House has an old man and a house and it's scary.
My man DEVIN G when are you gonna react to AMERICAN GANGSTER bro we been waiting over 2 years!!! Much love
He flew over the city, pooping over the people below.
My only issue with this film, is that there's no way that other zoologists would not have been able to decipher if the bones were real.

This is basically "Gran Torino" for kids lol.
You already react to this movie last year with your wife in the channel Snack and React.... But hey do you.
It's a sad/wholesome movie, not a scary movie lol.
Up is kind of a downer but...
