I'm always pleasantly surprised when a foundation looks really good on the deepest skin tones. And I know it really is just doing like the basics but when the basics haven't been met for a long time it feels like an accomplishment.
Is is just me or does red lipstick look out of place on a very dark skin complexion face? The deeper/cooler colours like Indigo, purple and midnight blue seem to fit better. I paint a lot, and know about the colour circle, red and brown are futher towards the warmer colours than Purple and Blue.
I love these reviews! I'm nowhere close to your skin tone and have a pretty easy time finding foundation matches, but I'd much rather support companies that have REAL shade ranges and care about (or at least pretend to care about) their customers. My little sister is incredibly pale (think almost translucent lol) and for her, finding a shade match feels damn near impossible. It's so sad, too, because you and her, while incredibly different, have similar foundation issues and I find both of your skin tones so damn beautiful.
it's definitely sheer but not in a bad way. The initial application definitely toned your face out more to have a similar color tone to your body but it was still deeper than your body. Foundation looks really good. Side note: you look so beautiful like you look ethereal and chique. Like a luxury people strive for.

A lot of people said it has a shimmer to it and that the shimmer in it highlights your pores, fine lines and dry spots. But it looks great on you. For April fools you should do a completely matte look. No shine, no gloss, no dew 😂 Just powder everything down. Idk if I would recognise you without your glow
Without your skin prep, would you say it's hydrating? I have realllllllly dry skin. I use Nars right now, but I'm looking for something that doesn't dry up fast.

Why does it look like you just put a moisturizer on? It just blended into the skin so beautifully and the match was not perfect but somehow perfect. Well, after this review I have to go buy it.
