Considering that both the Seaview and Flying Sub were fictional vessels, they both have surprisingly good performance in water when they are powered. I remember having models of both as a kid and put an external motor (mabuchi s1) on them. They worked great.
The performance of this sub looks more than adequate. I think the graceful turn radius adds to its elegance.
When ready I'll buy the fittings kit for this model. Nice presentation, Bob.
Great job of integration of the r/c components. The flying sub looks stock on the exterior, and operates very nicely👍👍
Nice clean install
Wow! Great mastership made look easy. Kudos Bob.
Great Boat, would love to have one.
Kit looks great. I will buy it when you have the final release ready.
Great video as always 👍
One of my favourite vehicles. I look forward to seeing the conversion kit.
Morning Bob
Great video...👍
Nice to see mention of directional thrust.
Very Nice effort- Thoughtful.
Cannot wait to show the forums my ROV conversion for this
Caterpillar drive! :D
Excelente 👍 Este es el segundo video que veo del Aerosub en RC y es fascinante este diseño 😄 Gracias por compartir tus conocimientos y experiencias 👍 Saludos cordiales desde Valencia 🇻🇪
I would like to see a video on that.
You guys did a outstanding job on that ....😎🦾bob Jason and son just phenomenal job.....
Love it! Did I just spy on a Batboat on the wall on the left?
Yes, sir, you did. It's about 3ft long and slated for eventual buildup as a high speed electric boat.

mmmm Batboat from Batman Returns :)
I wanna build a FLYING TinySub that I can ride in! 😱😝😁🤪🤣👍👍🇺🇲
Yeah ok. Good luck with that.😂😂
Viagem ao fundo do mar e tunel do tempo juntos. Muito bom e navega perfeitamente .
O senhor se superou mestre .
Hmmm. A quad-copter VTTBOTS Flying Sub.
Could be accomplished. Maybe.
This is the comment I made that is referred to by the "Sub Guy" as stating that I suggested it would fly.
Separate controls to the rear flaps would make this model literally fly in the water and also if you pitch up to the surface the sub would really skip along as it does in the show before it gets airborne. CONTEXT my friend....! "I said literally FLY IN THE WATER" "IN THE WATER" meaning some nice speed..DUH... Also the reference of airborne was in the real SHOW not the model and if you fix the controls as I said, which you simply overlooked because you were protecting your ego so as not to admit I am right. Well done and steeps of credibility. You couldn't possibly be an Engineer because they always understand and appreciate constructive critisism, so clearly this show is all about you and PATS on the back....!
In closing and given this Toy is in the development phase I would guarantee and wager that some, if not all of what I said in your first video be taken into consideration and applied. I have 35 years in RC Helicopters competing at international contests, so that is way more complicated than you sub. Your Welcome...! PS If your going to critise someone then have the Guts to do it factually not edit for your own glorification..!
Whoa, dude. In what way do you feel that I was in any way whatsoever speaking about you specifically during my intro? If you look at the comments on my first build, you'll see dozens (and dozens) of comments from people who were taking a stab at comedy by saying my build wasn't fully functional because the model I built didn't actually fly.
Your comments are completely valid and I do appreciate them. Bear in mind that this model was engineered as a simple conversion for people with little to no experience with RC submarines. Yes, I could make this thing to loopdiloops, spin around, jump, roll, and leap from the water, but the systems required would be expensive and complicated, beyond the scope of the conversion kit product line.
@@RCSubGuy Whoa Dude, ok acknowledged though you must be confusing me also with some other, as I never even remotely suggested that it would fly, and to suggest that, is completely out of context, probably due to a strong need to be defensive and a lack of reading every word in context which is a big failure of younger generations to jump to conclusions based on assumptions. Anyway my original suggestions were only motivated as constructive criticism, which as I said is always welcomed by engineers that are always interested in the greater good...
Best of luck with Flying Sub 2.0
Hey Bob where did get that G5 PT boat I want one!
Thomas, I got that as an unfinished scratch built project. It's absolutely gorgeous. If it's something you're genuinely interested in, hit me up. Will only be sold fully RTR as I have a lot into it. I haven't marketed it at all yet.
Thomas, open up a dialogue with me via email: bob(at)nautilusdrydocks.com and let's see if we can make something work for you.
No camera?
is the kit still available?
No it is no longer being produced.
Can you offer that whole demo kit?
@@lomboHung No, I am no longer offering or supporting this kit, unfortunately.
All I can think of is the new Ukrainian Navy!
