Shimano Tech with Tony Orton: #20 - Lucanus Slow-jig 60-100gm

In this weeks episode: Tony Orton explains how to fish the Shimano Lucanus lure.
The Shimano Lucanus is the original slow-jig in our range which were released 10+ years ago!
This fixed head lure has accounted for multiple species over the last 10 years, with some nice trophys along the way.
To correctly rig the lure, make sure you are tieing to the top tow point, which helps keep the hooks presented nicely in the skirts.
Lucanus UV Black was introduced new last year and is fast becoming one of our favourite colours in the range.

Cast DOWNTIDE?...with the boat drift/tide running and particularly slightly deeper water you're not going to hit bottom? Would you not cast uptide?
