I was wondering why I was so far off pace in a gtr then checked the start and finish positions, I've been going from the turning just after the car park @ 50kmh to the car park at the bottom. If I was running the same start/finish points as this I'd be at about 4:50, which shows just how fast this run is, considering its using an 86 and I'm in an r34, absolutely mental pace from this guy.
Okay believe me when I say that these kinds of runs on the new Akina don't usually give me much interest, but... Italo disco has my instant approval. Oh and btw decent run mate. I would give more tips & pointers, but I haven't had a PC to play AC since April, so I haven't had a go on TL1 Akina. It's nice to be seeing lots of new drivers take on the time attacks tho. The fact there's so many gets me more motivated to hop on and try my hand at an optimised record :D but that won't be for a while lol
I've watched this video alot of times now, but theres something still I don't quite understand In some hairpins you do a quick downshift from 2>1>2 one or two times during the corner, and I'm not really sure why? My only guess its to keep the RPMs high but I feel like it would cause the car to lose balance alot, can you explain this technique? I'm really curious to know the purpose of it
Hey, first of all good observation. :D On akina I actually use this technique to maintain my high speed and my speed in tight turns in order to have a quick exit without deporting myself too much outside on exit. I also use this technique to play with the angle slip. The extra power from the 1st gives me the angle I want. I never let go of the clutch at 100% during this moment, once the desired 'angle' has been reached, I re-engage the clutch and pass the second, this avoids drifting and allows me to play with the limit of the car provided you don't do it too early, at the right engine speed, and properly dose the extra power from the 1st clutch, at the risk of drifting off or wasting too much time. This technique is complicated and I insist it is not effective everywhere, well mastered it can be useful on tight pins, but on larger pins it will not be useful and you will waste time playing with the ratios. Plus, this technique is not useful with a short gearbox. Thanks for your question :>
@@axler-zeko177 Wow great thanks for the response! i am starting to research about AC Mods now, i just ordered my very first FFB wheelset g29 as a beginner and would like to know more on this touge stuff. I saw your vid/content and was inspired. Kudos!
@@maxo_gg hey man, real head motion is a good mod too especially if you don't have a VR headset. CSP and SOL are super awesome mods for graphic boost. Wdt, deathwish garage carpacks are good for drifting. Purchase the Japanese dlc pack too as many servers require it. For the wheel, hmmm I suggest you to make the LUT file and adjust the force feedback to resemble something real.

looks so professional, i forget most people have UA-cam channels on this server

How the heck do you stay in the gutters and not get bounced out to the other side guardrail?????
Me, i enter at 60 km with my foot on brake and i use inertia. To succeed in, i think about a rail train
