damn your are really fast. This pass feels much more dynamic compared to the final stage version in initial d (has more kinks that break up the straights, elevation and camber changes, and 1 or 2 blind corners I think)

Did you download this setup or did you make it yourself? If its the latter, you are a smart lad. Making full use of the two way shock absorber suspension. Keep it up.
I just use a common setup for the 86, it seems to work well on nearly every track
@@dankalf1 Thats suprising... can you tell me the suspension specs on the rear of the car? The spring strength, the shock absorbers (both ways please) and the anti rollbar strength? Dont go into specifics... strong or weak and midway is enough! Thanks in advance, and thanks if you reply. Maybe the 86 is so light it doesnt need fancy suspension... great skill then...

@@ksweew7476 hmm well ive been playing racing games like nfs since i was 6, watching assetto corsa touge videos from random callsign since like 4 or 5 years ago and started playing LFS with mouse steering, then last year I started playing assetto with mouse steering and around christmas time got a g29 and have been progressing since

Nice. I've never raced this track but I drift it quite a lot, at least the Euro and Kozzren version, not sure if this is that one. A few questions that I'd love to hear, as someone who almost exclusively drifts but who would like to get better at grip racing:
a. Is this the Kunos tuned Trueno from the base game?
b. how much time do you think you gain from very lightly drifting some of the corners and is that something that's only advisable in low-grip, low power cars?
c. do you have any tips for cornering? Like, is there an actual theory you use when cornering?
a. yes
b. a little, and to answer the second part of the question, yeah it works better with low grip (but not power) cars
c. i personally just drive and let my mind guide me to what seems to be the best line

this is an older version of tsubaki line that i dont recommend because of its glue-like guardrails, if you want a newer, better visually and one which doesnt have sticky guardrails i suggest you try the EK version: sharemods.com/j1gkps7vhx84/ek_tsubaki_line.rar.html

I figured that time couldn't be done, looking at this you could barely squeeze an extra few seconds out let alone 16
yeah a 4:21 is impossible, also keep in mind this is a different version of tsubaki so the best possible achievable times are different by about 5 seconds

yes, they can be. like-wise fast circuit drivers can usually also be fast on the touge
