imo, Leon's from THH was definitely (one of) the most goriest and gruesome of the series. it was also the first one to hit me straight in the stomach with a truck-load of panic. Kaede's wasn't that bad.
Unpopular opinion: I actually liked Korekiyo. Also, Kaede's music is just unsettling to me. Especially when the piano goes out of tune. This is the only game in the series where I've liked every single character nearly equally.
Audrey Yale Keebo was my favorite too, and I really liked Kirumi as well. Heck, I liked basically everyone. The only character who I really "hated" was Kokichi.

Another fun fact about Kaede’s execution. Some details on the piano also represent the next few executions. Take the piano cover with the spikes if you see closely you can see vines which represents Kirumi’s execution. The rope attaching to Kaede’s neck represents the rope that was tied to Korekiyo at the start of his execution. On top right of the piano you can see a giant caterpillar , which obviously represents Gonta. And finally just in the middle and on top of the piano , there seems to be something that looks similar to the rocket from Kaito’s execution.

Just imagine how terrifying it would be to be executed. The freaky music, the knowledge that you’ve got maybe a minute or two to live, and just how painful your death is going to be.
Korekiyo's execution bro, that execution is for sure the most painful in the whole series. And he didn't even pass out. Being boiled alive is just a big no-no
armonik is it though? I mean yeah it’s up there, but I think Kirumi’s takes the cake. Let’s forget about the emotional trauma and sawblades for a minute; do you know how painful it is to have something stuck in your hand? Every time she grips the vine, new (unnaturally thick) prickles become embedded in her hands. Not to mention, she has to continue HOISTING HERSELF UP throughout all of this. Hands are fucking sensitive man. That alone makes it one of the most awful, but then you add the sawbladss. The hundreds of cuts inflicted on her body, again WHILE SHE’S CLIMBING, is just something I can’t even imagine. And these don’t look like shallow cuts either. It’s also not just a few dozen feet either, it looks like she was climbing for a long-ass time.
Now that you say it, yeah im probably overrating how painful kiyo's death is, maybe because it has happened to me (Not full body ofc, only my left leg) but anyways, i wouldn't want to go out either way

Despairs 1. Kaede's Despair is when she played piano but the audience weren't smiling, but feeling sad 2. Kirumi's despair is when she thought that she could save her country, but can't 3. That crazy sister guy's despair is when he thought he could reunite with his sistee, bur instead he got annihilated 4. Gonta's despair is when he has to see the bugs he loves being burned to death 5. Kaito's despair was supposed to be when he thought that he could fly to space, but monokoma brought him to under the earth
Actually, there's multiple hidden stuff in Kaede's execution: Flea Waltz is a beginner song and most of the keys used are black. If you noticed her execution, her feet land on the white keys--a slight nod to her not being the actual "black"ened. And the song was also played wrongly (and to top it off with the fact it's a beginner song), so it made her despair. You can add the " not smiling audience" to top it off with a rotten cherry.
Kaito didnt suffered despair, he didnt died as the way monokuma wanted, and still got saved his friends plus he realized he's dream that is go to space Gonta suffered in a different way, is his execution it was a gentleman duel, which he didnt participated, making him not being one gentleman, plus he couldnt tell the bugs to stop because they were mechanic and got killed by the things he loved And Kaede didnt had to a motive to feel despair
I still think that the executions in the goodbye dispair (danganronpa2) are longer then trigger happy havoc ( danganronpa1) and V3,but in V3 their way more brutal, painful and sad to see like the execution of gonta

I think Kaede's execution wasn't just Kaede's execution. it was also Shuichi's.
Kaede got executed physically meanwhile shuichi got executed mentally.
I'd say he died emotionally, it was the secret of the outside world that caused him to die mentally (As evident from the 3 idle days before the game starts again), the TRUTH of everything literally DESTROYED him
and it was a goddamn manicure for Kokichi
So Shuichi is like a walkling corpse? He died emotionally and mentally but not physically but if you die emotionally and mentally you would be somewhat similar to a walking corpse.

Also, Kaede's music is just unsettling to me. Especially when the piano goes out of tune.
This is the only game in the series where I've liked every single character nearly equally.

Another fun fact about Kaede’s execution. Some details on the piano also represent the next few executions. Take the piano cover with the spikes if you see closely you can see vines which represents Kirumi’s execution. The rope attaching to Kaede’s neck represents the rope that was tied to Korekiyo at the start of his execution. On top right of the piano you can see a giant caterpillar , which obviously represents Gonta. And finally just in the middle and on top of the piano , there seems to be something that looks similar to the rocket from Kaito’s execution.
The rope is not to Korekiyo's execution, I mean, you can say it is. But there's also the mask that could be related to Korekiyo what-so ever.

Just imagine how terrifying it would be to be executed. The freaky music, the knowledge that you’ve got maybe a minute or two to live, and just how painful your death is going to be.

I mean yeah it’s up there, but I think Kirumi’s takes the cake. Let’s forget about the emotional trauma and sawblades for a minute; do you know how painful it is to have something stuck in your hand?
Every time she grips the vine, new (unnaturally thick) prickles become embedded in her hands. Not to mention, she has to continue HOISTING HERSELF UP throughout all of this. Hands are fucking sensitive man.
That alone makes it one of the most awful, but then you add the sawbladss. The hundreds of cuts inflicted on her body, again WHILE SHE’S CLIMBING, is just something I can’t even imagine. And these don’t look like shallow cuts either.
It’s also not just a few dozen feet either, it looks like she was climbing for a long-ass time.
Now that you say it, yeah im probably overrating how painful kiyo's death is, maybe because it has happened to me (Not full body ofc, only my left leg) but anyways, i wouldn't want to go out either way

Flea Waltz is a beginner song and most of the keys used are black. If you noticed her execution, her feet land on the white keys--a slight nod to her not being the actual "black"ened. Gonta suffered in a different way, is his execution it was a gentleman duel, which he didnt participated, making him not being one gentleman, plus he couldnt tell the bugs to stop because they were mechanic and got killed by the things he loved
And Kaede didnt had to a motive to feel despair
