For me, modafinil is excellent for long-term focus, I just have to be damn sure that I'm focusing on the right thing

@MrJerry160 pointless tasks, gaming, etc. It helps me really focus on whatever it is I'm doing, regardless of what it is
Didn't do much to me, didn't feel anything, but I was about 20% more productive and 40% more focussed.

Interesting. modafinil was probably the worst substance I have ever taken. Very unpleasant speediness (like high dose of caffeine combined with efedrine), no focus, no euphoria, just nervosity and total decrease in productivity, I was not able to understand simple text, but felt strong urge to read it repeatedly.
200 mg was almost unbearable, 50mg just slightly less unpleasant. Never again.
I was the same and I found 25 mg was the sweet spot
@@nsmilitia thank you. I was thinking about decreasing the dose to 25mg, but it was so unpleasant even at 50mg that I was not very motivated to try it.

I don’t get really any benefit from it, I feel like shit when I take it and it’s hard to focus on anything, I just feel really groggy and tired
Always been too afraid to try it. I have an intense paradoxical response to antihistimines and assume that while different modafinil would likely cause undesired effects.

I was on armodafinil for sleep issues. It worked well but my sleep issues weren’t fully cured so I kept taking too much, abusing it. I had to quit altogether.
Thankfully, I was able to turn my entire life around in so many other ways, I don’t even have sleep issues anymore. I use a small amount of caffeine daily, in the form of one cup of tea

do you have adhd? my Adderall puts me to sleep, so does coffee and 250mg caffeine teas. getting sleepy like he said is proof its working how stimulants do to neurodivergent brains imo. and yes it is ok to enjoy substances, even if someone does get a rush from it, if they can stop it the next week its okay with me.

I had one set of tablets and when they arrived I took a fraction immediately but in the crazy day I was having, forgot all about it.
I went to bed thinking about some plans and sat there thinking clearly for a while
Then I looked and saw it was 2AM and my mind wasn't weary of working like that and remembered I'd taken Modafinil. So I was sitting there thinking from 930PM to 2AM

Nah, or maybe he was on turtle 🐢 mode before and got him into normal mode. You can talk fast like Ben Shapiro while being severely clear, concise, precise and staying on track, and by that I mean no diverging onto other subjects going on tangents and stuff like that, so no "fat" whatsoever in what you say. Normal speech feels like a 1.0 liter 3 cylinder engine car that doesn't know where it's going, and moda talk it's like a Tesla going on a straight line from A to B in a perfect tarmac full speed.
The same happens to me, I don't get any weird effects it just improves speech, concentration and cognition by a noticeable amount but not as much as let say aniracetam. If I put it in a 1 to a 100, modafinil it's a 10 and aniracetam it's a 90 on the improvement, also no weird side effects on me on it. Thing is, modafinil in the long run, it's less harmful. Also aniracetam if taken daily from month 3 and on the effects actually accentuates instead of lessening, you hit a new gear or 2.

Modafanil Is Wonderful. After I Started Taking It and Returned to Work, I Memorized Whole Programs(Build Diagrams). I Taught My Coworkers How to Properly Assemble Sub-Assemblies. One of the Engineers Sent Out an Update to the Program We Used On the Production Floor. IT Came Out and Couldn't Figure Out How to Fix the Program. I Had Already Fixed the Program On My Computer a Little Over Twenty Minutes Before He Came Out to The Floor. I Showed the IT Guy How to Fix the Program. = Modafanil
