The exact same defective valve as his mom did. Sued the reporter back in the day with all sorts of medical records proving how healthy he was at that time - just for saying he was a ticking time bomb and dude lost all credibility. It was a defamation case and...this was not even a reporter in the US. That British reporter...found out in the hardest of ways that it's not worth it to ramble about something he knew nothing about on a grand scale to the masses. Hmmmm...if only people did the same with SM. No repercussions on SM, so EVERYONE is an expert no matter how much or how little you may or may not know about something.
Long term steroid use beyond abuse is definitely capable of leading to heart disease and premature death. Only a fool would say otherwise. There have been multiple mechanisms elucidated to date that hold merit for this causation.
HOWEVER - In Arnold's case - it had absolutely zero to do with his past CV related (genetically defective)valve replacements.

Yes roids can be harmful if you abuse them in very high dosages over a long period of time. I got nothing against roids. It's their body their choice no matter if people like it or not. If they want to blast a bunch of gear let them do it in peace. Myself I do my TRT in safe amounts with hardly no negative side effects at all. I Might retain a little bit of water, but that's a pretty common side effect when your on TRT.

Looking forward to seeing a newer and leaner machine in the next coming years. Please do video on body physiology types and the correct types of training based off your skeletal makeup. Too often you see these smaller framed guys think bodybuilding is the right avenue for them, but realistically those guys should be runners or iron men. Bigger framed men like yourself can take on the load of lifting weights but keep in mind from a longevity perspective it’s still not the best training regimen for men over 35.

Have a feeling its the carbs. As bodybuilders, we consume more carbs than fat people do. We become obese without visual fat, but the muscle we add has a lot of marbling, which is fat. Then we compound the dangers by enlarging our hearts. This is just my opinion. I'm a bodybuilder who ended up with diabetes and had to go keto to avoid insulin. At the end of the day, super-sized is bigger and harder whether it is fat or muscle.

Interesting, I wonder how common the outcome of your bodybuiding journey is? we are learning a lot about insulin spikes & their overall effects on the body which is cool. knowledge is power. Marc pretty much summed up the choices we have as men (for now) - science will keep improving modes of strength & longevity together, not just one or the other. it will probably come in the form of an implanted AI chip that literally helps give the body steroid like results without the harmful side effects. Slippery slope for sure. Thomas DeLaur is a carb restrictive bodybuilder & maintains great markers while staying pretty damn large. Hope you crush the diabetes💪
