When I make bunting I have a 1/4” smaller triangle and use that to get a great pointed end. And I also use the original template to space the bunting apart that way I have a perfect triangle in between

Hi I’ve just discovered this channel and I’m gutted that you haven’t posted in two months. With Christmas soon will you be posting anything soon. I love your simple English approach to teaching.

You had me cracking up at, "long with a glass of Pimm's and lots of rain..." because it's just too true 😂 What would a party be without a drizzle-downpour to liven things up? (Alongside the bunting, of course) I've been meaning to get off my butt and make some bunting for the garden for about eight months now - this was just the kick I needed to get started! Many thanks indeed

You are so welcome! I hope it goes well! I'd love to see a pic of your completed bunting over on instagram.

This method is time consuming, try cutting some squares - orientate like a diamond, fold in ½ to make a triangle then stitch any edge. The seam is at the back, fold the top triangular flap down and sew the binding on

I think I understand what you're saying. Wouldn't that have a raw edge on the outside? Would you trim the edge with pinking shears to make it look neater?
