When I make bunting I have a 1/4” smaller triangle and use that to get a great pointed end. And I also use the original template to space the bunting apart that way I have a perfect triangle in between

This method is time consuming, try cutting some squares - orientate like a diamond, fold in ½ to make a triangle then stitch any edge. The seam is at the back, fold the top triangular flap down and sew the binding on

I think I understand what you're saying. Wouldn't that have a raw edge on the outside? Would you trim the edge with pinking shears to make it look neater?
