How to make a plate cozy

- This plate cozy is fully washable and microwavable.
Make sure that all the materials you use are either, cotton or some other natural material. Never put metal or other reflective films in the microwave.
These are a great project that you can sell at craft fairs or to give as gifts.
Made using my New Brother sewing machine;
Turns out this particular sewing machine is only available in the UK.
The Brother CS7000x is EXACTLY the same. I don't know why they gave them different codes. It doesn't make sense to me either.....

Much for sharing the formulae for making bowl cosy. I have pasta bowls and I’d love to make a cosy for them. And I like the idea of making one for my dinner plates. I live alone so they would make a great table protector at same time

Just wondering does your wadding have scrim or must it be without scrim?
Try to find one without a polyester scrim just because of the danger of it melting.
Great video. Other people sew batting to both material pieces I noticed you only used one batting circle. Was wondering why?
I just don't find the 2 pieces necessary. I tried it with 2 and I didn't feel that it make it any more effective. it just made it harder to sew
