Supply list:
-cutting mat, rotary cutter omnigrid ruler
-fabric scissors
-paper scissors
-pinking shears
-pen or pencil if not using rotary cutter
-2 pieces of 8.5 x 11 (21.6 x 28 cm) paper
-sewing pins
-fabric of choice.And amount of choice depending on how many flags you are making. I used a thin upholstery fabric.
-cord, string, ribbon, jute twine or macrame cord for stringing
-ironing board and iron
-sewing machine and thread to match all fabric flags
-scotch tape and a safety pin to assist with threading on the flags

Very nice job on the video and project! Did you use burlap or duck? Would it sew as easily with quilt weight cotton? I'm used to sewing 2 layers on everything and haven't tried flags yet.
No I didn’t use burlap or duck. I used a very light weight upholster fabrics. Quilt material is easier to work with because it won’t fray as much as the fabrics I was using.
