Thank you. It's a daunting task, but with your video it was done within 2 hours, start to finish. I would add, make sure you have the correct tools at hand, and TRUST me is was a doddle. Thank you again🙏
It’s a bit of a bear, but I managed to rotate the outlet to come out, I did get it unplugged once, but honestly I don’t remember, so I did just move the panel out of the way with it still plugged in. I’m sorry that’s not much help. Moosemade
I’m sorry, perhaps I should have been more clear. On the backside of the pump there is a junction where the hose connections reside. The hoses are a press-fit, and are held in place via a plate that is connected to the pump with 4 Allen or hex bolts, if you loosen the bolts the hoses will come out. A word of caution, once the plate is loose hoses can come out and they have a specific place to go, so I feel it’s a good idea to loosen the plate just enough to remove the numbered hose you need. Thank you for watching. MooseMade

Glad I came across this. Great video👌 do you have the hydrolic hose part number?
Thanks for that lovely video. Does the hydraulic fluid for the roof pump is the same hydraulic fluid that go's into the Steering pump or the ABC pump?
Sorry for the late response, yes it is.
Making the top functional probably doubled your car's value! I only have 43K miles on my 2005 R171 so everything still works (for now!).
True enough! These cars are great….and better when they work like they are supposed to! Thanks for watching!
How do you disconnect the 12v power outlet. I can't figure it out and am ready to just cut the wires.
Thanks

What is the company that services these cylinders? Is th oil same as ABC?
The company I used is called Top Hydraulics, and the fluid I bought from my local dealership. I hope that helps.
Could it have an electric malfunction ?
No, there was fluid coming out of it. Thanks for watching!
Where do you get your parts from
I am not sponsored by, but I like Autohauz AZ.
Too many steps missing in the video. Specifically the process for connecting the hoses to the manifold.

What is that green light in the truck ??
That green light is an emergency trunk release, in case one gets trapped inside. Though it is quite small not sure how someone would fit.
