- The American Cancer Society hosted An Evening with Quincy to celebrate 100 years of progress at the Fox Theatre Atlanta on May 23rd, 2013. The show included performances from Pentatonix, Alfredo Rodriguez, Nikki Yanofsky, Allen Stone, Siedah Garrett, Patti Austin, James Ingram and The Dude himself, living legend Quincy Jones. True talent and artistry graced the Fabulous Fox Theatre stage. Here, James Ingram and Patti Austin deliver their classic ballad.
Just beautiful again & again. Keep the music 🎶 playing 💜💜
I've seen decades worth of these two, and believe Mr. Ingram was truly in love Ms. Austin.
She played for decades she didn't care, but one NEVER forgets the one(s) who truly loved you.
If these two were just doing it "for the cameras", well God Bless the acting skills:)
James was and is!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
These two M/F's have stayed together longer than most couples:)
US loves them.
Also appreciate their families who lost time out with them so they could entertain America.
God Bless, and love them.
Ms. Austin keeps her voice all warm, safe and healthy all these years.
No singers like him anymore,..but we still have Brian Mcknight who still pay tribute to him.. Miss him a lot...
James Ingram was the man, the voice that made me want to get behind a microphone and sing. I played his songs constantly then and still now I will keep the music playing R.I.P my inspiration.
A great singer with amazing chops!
He gave us beautiful songs .. Prayers for James Ingram and his family and friends.
Wonderful thing is James Ingram actually does know how to keep the music playing, he has been together wife his wife for 45 years! Which I think helps him deliver this song with such conviction, mad respect.
I truly respect longevity in a marriage. I'm sure that 45 years were not all "peaches and cream," but the vows state, "til death do us part." That's how they ended it.
Just Beautiful. RIP Mr. INGRAM. 2022
As an OG I go way back. LOVE THIS SONG!!!
