I kinda liked the King Boo fight in this one. Although I was a little disappointed to see that he lacked a health bar this time. I actually found it funny that Luigi had to slam him into the ground to actually defeat him this time around. It kind of made it feel like that Luigi was getting tired of dealing with King Boo's tricks, much like how King Boo was also getting sick of dealing with him too. Other than that I also liked the fight against Wolfgeist and the "monster" fight from Morty's movie. I still feel bad for catching him even after his movie is complete. As for Clem: I didn't think about using Gooigi in that fight until after doing co-op when my sister was playing. ...Still hated that entire floor though. I also hated the Polterkitty segments if dealing with that cat counts as a boss or a mini boss.

The Polterkitty isn't a boss fight to me, because chasing it *six times* and going into a different floor to finish her off, it's obvious that her role in the game is to pad out the main story.
It means "the biggest letdown", right? I truly love analyzing bosses, and although looking very cool and having a wide range of attacks, your openings are way too tight. He uses more or less 6 attacks before throwing in bombs. It must be getting frustrating by the time you get to the third phase. Aiming and remembering which ghost is the real one while it's about to rain lightning on you is infuriating. I was hoping for a better third phase but nope. Also, King Boo kinda ripped off the magician trio. Wolfgeist is just amazing and I wish the sports dude wasn't placed so low. I kinda like how he differs from the usual three-phasing.
YES finally someone is giving Wolfgeist the praise he deserves. I loved his design, his snooty and short tempered personality, and his multi-phase fight that really fun and even somewhat challenging. It felt like I was finally getting to lay the smackdown on that piano form Mario 64.
And Gooigi can block the bomb in the magician triplets fight, halt the mouth in the ship fight, etc. There's a good use for it in almost every boss battle.
Yeah but that doesn't change the fact the raft controls are not ideal for this fight. You'll often get disorientated on which way's forward and clem's attacks are hard to dodge when your acceleration is so slow.
My top 5 favourites are Steward, Amadeus Wolfgeist (spelling), Morty, Captain Fishook and DJ Phantasmagloria, I just like all of these boss ghosts a lot

I loved the hella gravly boss so much it felt so cool to do the floor segment and then the water and the last face when she recover the laser walls one by one it more than a mirror
I actually really liked the Magician Triplets fight. I dunno, there’s just something bout keeping track of where they are with evading attacks which is really cool. The worst, imma go with Sepci. It felt very unclear and just frustrating to complete
I'm kind of surprised that Nintendo went all out with their creativity and ideas for the magician triplets. When the twisted suites rooms get all mixed up, the hat shuffle, the golden bunny rabbit, the fake door illusions and all the other stuff was a pretty creative idea to put in a room. (For a magician, of course.)

It was by far the best floor for me. They didn't have to explain anything. You just have to go around exploring and experimenting different things. When you realise that you could go in and out of the TV and that you could activate the switches from inside the rooms, that's when you know how the puzzle works.

In the fight against DJ Phantasmagloria you had to look closely at the dancing ghosts and figure out which of them was dancing a bit differently than the rest because it may be awkward to dance while holding an elevator button. E. Gadd would have said that if Luigi had taken too long to find the right ghost.
Amadeus Wolfgeist in my opinion should have been Melody Pianissima from the first game. That would have been a really cool reference since E Gadd said that Hellen Gravely stole ALL of his portrait ghosts including King Boo and the rest of the first and second game's ghosts
Serpci (for the atmosphere of the battle and my favorite music in the game) and Hellen Gravely (most creative yet challenging fight) are the best for me. Honorable mention to Captain Fishhook, Morty, and Ug too, but they're not as top tier as the first two!
My guess is King Boo! It was really intense and exciting to fight, and it’s my personal pick for best boss. I actually needed a few tries to beat it! Edit after watching video: Oh yeah I forgot about Ug, Wolfgiest and Fishook! Those are amazing! However I still think King Boo was really cool and deserved a higher spot on the list.

Amadeus Wolfgeist was normal to me, but it’s very hard as one of the earlier bosses in the game Johnny was extremely easy, same for DJ Fishook wasn’t hard, feels pretty normal to me Clem is normal to me but for a lot of people it’s very hard, same for Serpci. Nikki, Lindsey and Ginny are very hard for me, although that’s still debatable for many Otherwise, yeah, pretty much agree

I found a secret in the serpi fight, its a refrence to the knucklotec boss from oddyssey. Knucklotec is in the sand kingdom and he shoots fists and is a head.
I got extremely lucky my first time battling the triplets! I didn't pick the bomb at all. I lost track of the hats at some point so I really was just guessing 😅
I like how people in this comment section don't say anything about the slam timing... Don't spam, it's slow, press A when the slam button is green again

Yeah he was annoying, but it didn’t took me too long, the mechanics are what made it hard, but it was pretty easy once you figure out. Also, at least you can somewhat cheese it by using Gooigi so you don’t have to climb the stairs and run over to the other side before he gets back to the water I understand why people hate him tho as he’s definitely annoying, but Nikki, Lindsey and Ginny were even worse in my opinion
I honestly found him kinda fun... I guess it was because of just how stupid it was? That and I had a relatively easy time understanding and using the floaty mechanics.
All of the ghosts are very difficult to figure out. The chef in my opinion is very difficult for me until it said what to do. For example to get to Godzilla you have to do many steps. A lot of bosses are difficult to get to.
Morty should have been number one. Here’s why: 1. Tons of Personality 2. He’s a peaceful ghost. 3. Luigi was actual friends with him.* *Luigi doesn’t celebrate like he usually does when he captured Morty. Luigi seemed depressed.
I had a much easier time with Clem by keeping Gooigi outside of the water to vacuum him up when his duck popped. It saved a lot of time and Clem never tries to splash Gooigi

I do not know why The Triplets are later in the game, I think they are easy because their only attack is throwing cards at you. Also, they only have 100 health. And it is just a simpler shell game. I think this would make a good boss 2 because Chambrea, you do not know that you need to plunger 🪠 it. Chambrea could be unfair for the noobs who are new. I think Chambrea should be on floor 11 instead.
Dr potter to me was also very confusing but I never thought it as boring and with Johnny deep end I thought well this is easy especially when the boss is lower then the regular minions (goops) but then I was so confused how to hit him, wolf Geist was also my hardest especially with the aiming

Amadeus Wolfgeist was normal to me, but it’s very hard as one of the earlier bosses in the game
Johnny was extremely easy, same for DJ
Fishook wasn’t hard, feels pretty normal to me
Clem is normal to me but for a lot of people it’s very hard, same for Serpci.
Nikki, Lindsey and Ginny are very hard for me, although that’s still debatable for many

The Magician Triplets was my favorite boss.
I found a secret in the serpi fight, its a refrence to the knucklotec boss from oddyssey. Knucklotec is in the sand kingdom and he shoots fists and is a head.
The dark moon fight was much more repetitive in my opinion then the third. I think this was the best king boo battle so far!
I wish there was an option where you could go back and battle the bosses again

@@DoubleAA06 same here, i hated fighting clem the fight is so infuriating, because if you do pop your floaty you can do nothing but blow a new one up, you cant even zap the mice that pop up for a chance to get some hearts to refill your health....
Yeah he was annoying, but it didn’t took me too long, the mechanics are what made it hard, but it was pretty easy once you figure out.
Also, at least you can somewhat cheese it by using Gooigi so you don’t have to climb the stairs and run over to the other side before he gets back to the water
I understand why people hate him tho as he’s definitely annoying, but Nikki, Lindsey and Ginny were even worse in my opinion
I honestly found him kinda fun... I guess it was because of just how stupid it was? That and I had a relatively easy time understanding and using the floaty mechanics.

All of the ghosts are very difficult to figure out. The chef in my opinion is very difficult for me until it said what to do. For example to get to Godzilla you have to do many steps. A lot of bosses are difficult to get to.

Morty should have been number one. Here’s why:
1. Tons of Personality
2. He’s a peaceful ghost.
3. Luigi was actual friends with him.*
*Luigi doesn’t celebrate like he usually does when he captured Morty. Luigi seemed depressed.

I had a much easier time with Clem by keeping Gooigi outside of the water to vacuum him up when his duck popped. It saved a lot of time and Clem never tries to splash Gooigi

I do not know why The Triplets are later in the game, I think they are easy because their only attack is throwing cards at you. Also, they only have 100 health. And it is just a simpler shell game. I think this would make a good boss 2 because Chambrea, you do not know that you need to plunger 🪠 it. Chambrea could be unfair for the noobs who are new. I think Chambrea should be on floor 11 instead.
But you've got to admit the rubber ducks coming out of the poltergust when you suck up clem is purity funny

Dr potter to me was also very confusing but I never thought it as boring and with Johnny deep end I thought well this is easy especially when the boss is lower then the regular minions (goops) but then I was so confused how to hit him, wolf Geist was also my hardest especially with the aiming
