2004 prairie 360 not resetting belt light and limp mode

I replaced the drive belt and made sure the belt failure switch was set to on last fall. after this procedure failed I unplugged the 2 wire belt switch and it shows as closed. I believe that is correct operation. I then followed the reset procedure I found online. I have tried about a dozen different methods with the same result. the flash error code says memory reading error. I verified fuses are good under seat and battery is charged. any help is much appreciated.

Could be your switch underneath the belt cover. If not I am currently having this same issue becuase the idiot that owned my dad's quad before did some dumb shit to the wires

@tspecht610 I started to find some of these kits yesterday, well I guess if I can't get it reset I'm gonna have to buy one. Glad it's fixed tho.

Update I was able to fix it with one of the reset videos on youtube and it was the only video on youtube that worked

I have a bypass kid installed,, went backtick limp mode, can reset and it works but only for a minute riding it then back to limp mode
