So it's 4K input but it downscales it to 1080p, right? no 4K output?
There are 4x4K in and 2x2K out as streaming is 2K
@@DannyBlack It is 3840x1080x30Hz, and only HDMI program outputs.
Wondering if you can answer this for me, does it allow individual input recordings from each source or will it only record the live show?
Hmm looking at the price on Taobao , it's not cheap though .cost an arm and two legs for us for now. BUt pretty heavy packed. good to know.
Do any other video mixers enable vertical video output?
I will answer my own question. Yolo liv and cinetreak v1 also do vertical video. Not sure if there are any others as it doesn’t seem that common.

@@justkeepmoving8995 Another key advantage is mini-mx runs events like wedding, conference, sports much better as it has at least two more layers compared with other mixers, fully seamless switching from Preview 2 live video + 1 background content + logo + caption + subtitle to another 2 live video + 1 background content + logo + caption + subtitle.
