Very Exceptional I would not mind buying one to mix, it would be a one up if the fix the cut transition and a software upgrade on the bug it has a glitch. Overall the 10 out of 10 for the slick design.
Great review. Also I'll skip this, since it lacks quick switching (which is must have for me) and lacks multiview on the hdmi output (at the time of the review). It looks like I'll stay with Atem Mini or perhaps consider Osee GoStream, which cost less than this. However, the 10" monitor makes it a good portable / travel system. Wish it had internal recording, though
I like the feature from previous firmware, where you can resize the PIP screen size, but with the latest firmware update, that feature is no more. Can they bring it back? Because sometimes I don't want it to cover 3/4 of the main screen when doing the presentation.
Great video. Just curious, does the unit internally handle HDMI conversion, or will need more hardware to convert my camera’s HDMI signal? Thanks so much.
Very helpful video. I have the Livepro L4. I also have the Atem Mini Pro. I like the 10.1" touchscreen multiview, which is perfect for my purposes. Unfortunately, I have to record from my PC. I also like the audio in/out option. It gives me a clean pass through sound that i can edit later. People have told me the sound is clear when i DJ during a live stream. It really works great with OBS. Finally, it does not have all the bells and whistles like Atem Mini Pro ISO or extreme, but for a one person music, video, lights, and streaming DJ, it works great.
Thanks Shane. I love the Feelworld 7 inch monitor and also have a 5 inch Viltrox for a comparison point of view. Both are great. So using I'm using that as a product awareness starting point. I wonder what the Feelworld switcher will be like in 12 to 18 months if they take critiques like yours on board and make the firmware updates. Great video mate. Does Viltox make a switcher? I have an ATEM mini but would love to see a shootout of advantages of what competitors have to offer. Not necessarily better or worse, but differences so you can compare and work out what suits your needs or interests.
Would there be deal breaking amount of latency if this was used to stream my band performing in our studio? We would send a stereo audio mix from our audio mixer + 4 HDMI Go Pro Hero 12’s into the L4. Curious if latency would be a factor between the Go Pro’s and audio feed. Thanks!
A fine device, but it can only do what many other manufacturers also offer. Expansion modules would be interesting, as they would greatly expand the range of applications.
I'd love to know if the unit can do a fullscreen side-by-side view with control over the crop on each side? This is useful for a podcast with two hosts.
I don't believe the picture in picture has that capability (or I didn't see it on the options). Side by side is a handy tool. When I fire it up next, I'll take another look.
@@GeekyNerdyTechy I wonder what it would take to ask FeelWorld to just make the entire software part of this available as open source, so more intuitive options could be created. Feelworld is a hardware company, the more units they sell, the better for them. Compare this to BlackMagic, it would be a no brainer.
Hey Shane, cool box but seems just a bit underwhelming to me compared to others like the new Obsbot Talent or Magewell Director Mini. Side note, I would suggest you get your mic off the table and stand, as every time you move your arms, the mic is shaking or vibrating and it picks it up making little "thunder or footstep" sounds! You need a boom arm so it isn't affected by your physical movements...especially when you lift your arms and put your elbows back on the table, it's making all kinds of rumbling noise. I thought I was going nuts, thinking someone was walking around upstairs above me, and when I paused the video, nothing was there..then press play and there's the rumbling again!!
I have a pro set of studio monitors here if you're listening with a set of computer speakers with a subwoofer, it's set up poorly. I don't hear it listening with a set of Adam Audio T7V powered music monitors or on my phone. So far no one else is complaining so we'll see how the comments go. :)
@@GeekyNerdyTechy not a complaint at all bud. Offering help...if you watch closely everytime you rest your elbows on the table the mic shakes/rattles and that makes the rumbling noises. I'm a professional podcaster for over 10yrs, don't discount my sound setup or ears mate! I'm telling you it's there. Mic handling noise is an issue to correct is all. As podcasters it's wise to have the mic off the table so it doesn't pick up all the movement. Trust me it's there. Just trying to give a guy some help
Thank-you!! I’m still new to switching, so this might be obvious, but can you also use a luma key or is it only for color? Also, since it does not have recording, can I send the output straight to a monitor/recorder like Atomos Ninja or BlackMagic Video Assist? Right now I use an Atem mini but I love the idea of having a screen on the switcher so I’m not having to use my computer for everything.
Hi Kathy, the Chroma Key option lets you select the colour you want to remove from the scene. If you need to record to a ninja or external recorder (via HDMI or SDI) It will work fine for that also. I would use this to record to my Pearl Nano which is a dedicated recorder without any issues. Just make sure you have the HDMI set to program mode.
@@azlanraffie2791when I gave the signal to the hyperdeck and atem television studio hd switcher, it was only a clean feed of the SDI signal or loop out. If there is a setting in this switcher or in the software do tell. I don't know but there a lot going wrong with the version I have! The power cable only came with 1 European plug and cable had no lock.
It doesn't stream directly, as I mentioned in the video. It's made to be a switcher for a computer setup which allows it to work with the majority of software because it's detected like a webcam is.
The fact that it does not record means I cannot buy it. Why would they release a product without one of the best features of all other switchers. Who is this for? It can't compete with BM or any other Brand. Total letdown.

You deserve ALL the likes for Earthbound being an HDMI source.
haha thanks mate! 🤣 Super Ghouls and Ghosts is my favorite on this pack but man, it's brutal! 😆I hope you're doing well.
3:03 They just got me when i saw Twitch wit TEAMS logo on it xD 😂
ah! someone else commented about that but I totally missed what they meant. haha
If this had self recording like the Atem then I would snap one up, hopefully they will listen to your recommendations.

Good review. I'm looking for a 4k one with 2x 4k hdmi out, then I could basically use it as a screen kvm

I just plugged mine in and it worked fine - no need for anything else.
Can you see an improvement in image quality while using the 4k input vs a 1080p equivalent input?
Can the unit automatically switch if you have multiple cameras connected?

I'd like to use this the feed presentations and graphics from multiple computers to my ATEM Mini Extreme SDI.
That SDI out would be real handy.
Thanks for this excellent video. Does this switcher had a 3/4 hole at the bottom to raise a little on a stand. Can screen be tilted up at some angle?
It has legs you can flip open to get a nice angle when its on the desk. The only spot it has the screw points are on the sides of the unit.
also i tend to have to use a Behringer pm1 to get lxr into my switchers,

@@GeekyNerdyTechy Cheers, appreciate it.
For quick switch press the AB single direction button-- quickswitch
How do you record ?
Is it controllable by OSC ?
Can I incorporate my Rodecaster DUO with this?
I haven’t used one of those before sorry.
A double tap on the touch screen input for quick switch would be really cool
100% - that's all it would need to be. Great suggestion.

Can you add more than one graphic to the screen simultaneously?
I don't believe so no.
I umderstood that you can connect Atomos Ninja external recorder to this unit. Is that correct?
any mounting options on the back?
There's only mounting points on the left and right side of the unit.

Well I bought one it arrives tomorrow
Why do none of these support 4k60 in and out?
I have been hoping for a 4K device that doesn't cost 3k to come out as well. 1080p is still the standard for live streaming right now.
I don't understand the claims FeelWorld make to streaming? It doesn't have onboard streaming does it?
It doesn't stream directly, as I mentioned in the video. It's made to be a switcher for a computer setup which allows it to work with the majority of software because it's detected like a webcam is.
If you stream live on Tik Tok wouldn’t that record your stream so that you don’t need an encoder ?
Yes, like all the other platforms with this unit. This requires a computer for streaming.
Can record on the switcher?
I covered that twice, check the time stamps
Am I the only one that noticed the twitch logo?!?!?! lol
Thanks for the review
The Twitch icon on the box was actually the Microsoft Teams icon.
It doesn’t matter it works will all of them
You must like FF6!
No recording to an SSD or SD is a massive deal breaker.
