  • For most of my life, I have had endometriosis. A year and a half ago, I had endometriosis excision surgery in hopes of getting rid of my endometriosis; however, after a year and a half, the pain and associated symptoms continue to worsen and are almost as bad as what they were before surgery. #godismystrength #endometriosis #excision

so sorry you have to go through this, my pain is not even nearly as bad, but still, when I get my period I spend the majority of time either in the bathroom or in the bed. The pain spreads do my legs and makes my legs feel heavy. Do you experience similar symptoms? Greetings :)

Would another surgery be helpful? That sounds miserable. Hang in there.

Thank you for your support. It was very hard to find a surgeon to do the first surgery. Most of the surgeons wanted to do a full hysterectomy. The surgeon who did my surgery said if the surgery did not work, he most likely would do a full hysterectomy the next time. My primary care doctor does not want me to get a full hysterectomy because that would put me into menopause. Menopause increases the risk of bone fractures. I am prone to falling and crashing into things. I really need strong bones to prevent bone breaks. Unless I develop a massive ovarian cyst or other major complication, I will most likely just have to tough it out.
