Paint Chipping With Sea Salt - Custom Diecast Rust Effect - Gaslands

I take a crack at the sea salt paint chipping method on this 1967 Pontiac Firebird 400 from Hot Wheels. I learned a lot doing this for the first time and I think it turned out great!
My goal is to return this car to a stock look and age it as if it had one owner and is now a mechanic's project car. The stock GM paint color I've chosen is Gulf Turquois. It was apparently one of the more popular colors at GM dealerships in the late 60's. The undercoating is Rustolium dark red. You can see the full build in my upcoming video.
