Yep, you did have a dremel, but that was the day I was over and it was dirty because it was being used to puree my baby carrots and butternut squash, remember?
SLICK editing, Bill! A good buddy told me about your channel and I'm glad he did. This is some top-shelf category you got going on right here! Not just the editing, but the delivery and the actual END RESULT you come up with. Really liking it, my man!
Well its all due to one long Sunday, watching your channel, videos back to back... Next day, I started mine. You are probably my biggest inspiration so thanks for watching! No exaggeration.
The estate car you're converting is a Hot Wheels Datsun 510 Wagon. A popular model, and one often stolen from Hot Wheels multi packs. You should have sent your busted He-Man figure to Toy Polloi. He'd have got him all tarty 'n' smart again.
the whole point of the pound shop is wandering among the aisles of tat!... and knowing you can have any of it for a pound!... I wont take that away from anyone.

Great tutorial. I've made 7 so far, each one comes out better than the last! I have a whole dresser full of cars so I'm sure it'll keep me busy for awhile!
Well well well... I click on a video for a gaslands build and subscribe for the personality. Great video, I got some catching up to do on the rest of your channel. 👊👍💪🏁
Your so like me when making! It's all about the process the bodging and whinging it and most important having fun and learning new skills on every new project.
You inspire me, Bill. So glad I found you through your collab with Stud and giving that young whipper-snapper a what-for. Super Metroid is one of my most favorite retros, love your build. And one broken He-Man is worth far more than two stolen cars, so your slate is still clean
New subscriber here from the states , love the dry sense of humor . Right up my alley . Very creative and fun to watch . By the power of Grayskull “I am HE-MAN !!!! “
Bill making stufd AND Gaslands?!? Heck yeh! My two favorite activities together at last. I have been following diecast customizer videos for awhile now and have started doing some myself. Then I found your channel and have now starting to collect bits & bobs to make bigger things and paint them in rust. I blame you. (And so does my wife. 😁🤷🤦) Great stuff, thanks for sharing, and keep on keeping on!!
That rust technique turned out amazing!!! It really has the layered look that rust gets on cars! Me and my daughter love watching your videos and your april fool's video had us rolling 😂 keep doing you cause you are amazing
Dang! You've taken off! I remember when I first stumbled across your channel you had 200 or 300 subs. Glad your cooking on gas now man :) More please 🤜
great conversion! reminds me when i used to stick guns and missiles to cheap chinese hot wheels copies when was a kid. you could do another one, and then a background diorama for them.
I thought you won't use pigment powder, I was so sad I almost cried. And at that very moment, you started to use them! So I cried for other things! What a day this is!
I am really enjoying your videos! They are different to what i've previously seen, your voice is very calm and contrasting to your chaotic video making style. Thank you for providing us great entertainment :)
Great work again Bill. Keep them coming. Maybe if you do Gasslands again you could do something ridiculous like putting the body of a VW on the chassis of a truck or tractor.... ooooh, or maybe an army tank with the caterpillar tracks. Yeah, that could be really cool. Okay, I’m off to think about that for a bit. Love
Love that texture your rust mixture made, totally going to use that soon. Great video once again Bill! I'd love to see two (or more... the more the better really) gasland cars run into each other and explode in a stop motion way - BOOM
nice video! Please more Gasland cars! I just played yesterday and what a game! burning wreck rolls over the finishline and wins the game :D was so much fun.
Come for the build, stay for the humour, love it! I'd love to see your take on a War Rig for Gaslands, maybe using the same Poundland truck from episode 17?
MOAR GASLAND CARS!!! Love that You scratch build everything! with all those 3d printers around it's hard to find a nice scratch build car these days :)
This turned out great! I'd love to see more, I hadn't heard of Gaslands before this video so now you've got me scurrying down that post- apocalyptic rabbit hole. It's right up my alley!
Hey Bill! You ask us to write what we wanna see you make so here I go: I wanna see, at least another car. I want another small cool robot. I want a dirt bike, rust edition. Maybe an animalistic robot? Well, to be honest... I just watch all you make, it's such a good time. Thanks for making stuff!
Love this. To avoid painting the wheels later, unless you want to, you could separate the chassis from the body by drilling out the rivets with a 7/64" bit. That way you wouldn't have to worry about masking the windows, also. Do all your body work and then re-assemble, that would allow you to paint the bars without paint getting on the windows. Finally re-attach the chassis with tiny screw, or glue.
I see you believe in the eye for an eye toy for a toy philosophy, I can't really blame you if some one breaks one of my toys I'm sending one of theirs to the parts box. This was great Gaslands build, I found a few techniques in this video I'll have to have try at myself in the future. Also you might want to try drilling out the rivets at the bottom of the car to break it apart. Although this not needed it really helps if you're planning to add figures and other details inside the car or do a wheel swap.
Very cool! I make my textured rust with the pastel chalk powder mixed with water or spirits or rubbing alcohol whatevers closer to me. It would work well with this smaller scale. Just an idea. I like how the pstel blue came out too very noice.
@@BillMakingStuff yeah you can make it a paste or a thin wash. You just need a medium. Sometimes I use acrylic medium. Usually I add a wash at the end. It seals it and it looks better.

Oh that was it... I probably shouldn't let you play with power tools

Good news, Bill, Poundland does home delivery. You could try for a sponsorship.
the whole point of the pound shop is wandering among the aisles of tat!... and knowing you can have any of it for a pound!... I wont take that away from anyone.
Don't feel bad about bullying your son, he's 2 years old, it's about time he learned how ruthless and cut-throat this hobby truly is.
Can’t he just buy his own hotwheels, tho?
I play Gaslands to escape real life cut-throat and ruthlessness.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤩
Yes please more Gaslands builds. I was thinking of getting into making custom post-apoc cars myself and I could use all the inspiration I can get.
Sounds good!
Yes more gaslands! Ice cream truck, barricades, buggies,

I have just discovered your posts, a couple of days ago, and I have decided you are a genius. Really! Rust and all.

I'm thinking something like that next time... I have ideas. Thanks for watching
Absolutely love your work!
I'd happily watch you make porridge Bill, it's your deadpan humour that brings me here now as much as the scratch builds 😊
Thank you
I'd love to see a big gaslandish car! Like a 1:18 car model. If you show up to your gaslands competition with that you'd have won before you sat down!
Love that texture your rust mixture made, totally going to use that soon. Great video once again Bill! I'd love to see two (or more... the more the better really) gasland cars run into each other and explode in a stop motion way - BOOM
thank you! was thinking cotton wool explosions... maybe next time

Love the comedy in this, the production value is great too
Much appreciated!
For first build of gaslands this is good and make more gaslands!
Great build Bill. Love all these Gasland cars.
Thanks!
Perfect.
This turned out great! I'd love to see more, I hadn't heard of Gaslands before this video so now you've got me scurrying down that post- apocalyptic rabbit hole. It's right up my alley!
Gaslands is a hoot! I don't usually have the patience for minis games, but Gaslands is hilarious every time.
I have to actually play it
The Boudica spikes were a stroke of pure genius
Mad Madge: Scourge of Aldi Car Park could be the next Fury Road episode I feel.
Great conversion, rust is the new black thanks to you.
More gaslands!!! More rust!!! More paintchipping!!! I love it!!!
You got it!
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! ! Would love to see the war rig. Your videos just keep getting better and better man, 👍

Thank you and welcome
Amazing job, as always! The BluTack idea is simply great!
Glad you like it!
I definietly want to see more gaslands cars from you!
Fine
Great video as always. A quick tip, hot glue the wheels in place before you start. It also makes the vehicles more secure when you're playing.
Thanks for the info!
This was the highlight of my day. I love all the rust!
Awesome work, Bill!
Thank you! Cheers!
You should make that 10 second weathering powder video, that'd be awesome!
Subscribed on the power of the thumbnail alone.

I did attempt to remove the chassis, but didn't have a drill handy. So just went for it... but next time.
Thanks for watching... and the tips
Rust!!!!! Wheeeeee!!! And upgrading to textured rust. Bill. You sir are committed!! Should be committed?🤔 One of those two...😜
Both
Lol me too. Likely why I enjoy your channel so much!

Great looking rust bucket, I think I owned that car back in the late 80's =0
Yeah cars were always rusty back then.
Ah rust and GASLANDS CAR! Mmm cool idea, I’ll be trying out this one myself but not a RUST Paint Work!!!
Mad Magg. Sounds terrifying. We Want More!
