This is the kind of run and runner I love to see at GDQ. The jokes are nonsense and in-jokes and if you get it it's funny, if not it's wtf. But everything moves quick and feels energetic and the runner and couch seem like they're having a good time.
Having gotten this game on Steam recently after the Strife & Ruin update, it's nice to see earlier builds of the game and how they were already broken. Excellent commentary and excellent run!
4 years later, I'm going through NG+ and watching this, it's really awesome seeing the differences since the updates! Really funny commentary too, loved watching this

Old patch 1.0.6. Pause on screen transition, do a quitout on cutscene start, keep menu glitch up until done. It's pretty easy once you know how to do it. I figured out doing it 18/19 times is faster, so glad I didnt know that for gdq lol. Idk how to downpatch a console game.
the pixel art in this game is great... but its nowhere near the best ones. when talking best pixel art it just doesnt hold a candle to games like legend of mana or progear.
