I love the pattern for the wheel lug indicators. This is probably the most important video you’ve made, despite the many that have saved me. You are speaking so much truth here.

Hi Bruce. Great video as usual. I am taking my Fuso for its road test this weekend as it is now nearly converted which means here in the UK we can put it through a car/ Motorhome test rather than commercial vehicle test. It feels like a HUGE step after 5 years of planning, finding the right truck, finding a company to do the big builld parts and getting it back for us to complete the full kit out which has been pretty gruelling over the long wet winter months but we feel like we can for the first time see the light at the end of a very long tunnel so it is great to hear how others are coping and deal with feeling overwhelmed at times. I have also been clearing faults using your meter cluster method in rediness for it test. so thanks for all the great Fuso service videos. They are so helpful.

Same here. Only I'm 20 years into mine. I've had a lot of life moments that put my build on the back burner. (Retirement, cancer battles of both myself and my wife, you know the drill) But, it's one of my hobbies that I enjoy. I love dreaming up things to change, then putting in the effort of learning to make it a reality. Plus, I love doing it myself. And I have the shop and tools to do almost all of it myself. And, if not, I have some very skilled contacts that can help me out.
Between my RV, Off Road truck? Motorcycles, and family, my plate is full. And that's the way I like it.
    Good one Bruce!

There are certainly struggles along the way in projects and in life - some much larger than others. I’m glad you are able to pull through and enjoy the positive moments!

Omg! This is exactly what I was thinking to myself! This week. I’m in the middle of my build. FTS700 ex fire truck. And boy oh boy I’ve gone through the same processes mentally. Thanks for letting me feel normal. 😂

It can be quite a draining process!! Keep pushing through and you’ll end up with a wicked truck!

A really great video for those thinking about going down this path. As an engineer I went through the GE PMBOK project management school, and that 'pie' has quarters - time, cost, scope, and quality. They're called the 'hard functions' of project management because they are inseparably linked. Change one, change at least one of the other three.
As you know we started with a little ex-military Canter which already had a good module on the rear for a living space. Of course, someone had been using it before us. What we saved in build time, we lost in ensuring the module was refurbished back to 'as new' before we built the interior fit-out. It's all swings and roundabouts - not those ones we played on as kids where you fly off though, they suck 🙄

The links between these facets is kind of like gravity - more than just a good idea 🤣. I think a lot of folks go down a build path with no background in design, project management, or quality management… and I can’t imagine how difficult that could be! We are lucky!

I want a tig welder, I need to check out your vids on tig. Green grass! I got a little popping up from a bit of grass burning I did a month ago, but we got 6" of wet heavy snow today and part of the state of Maine got 18". It was fun driving about in the Mitz with 37's in the snow. Not plowing as the ground is soft as can be. I had to stop making videos for the time it took and I did a sloppy job of it, it was fun but it took away part of the enjoyment I have doing thing. Utube rewards are different and I hear the cash pay back is not as grand as it used to be.

Yep, we got dumped on last night too! For sure can’t be in UA-cam at this level for the money. It’s kind of like trying to be a race car driver - kind of costs more than you make 🤣
