Thanks for sharing your knowledge and passion for lawn care!! It amazes me to see how hard you work to keep your property in tip-top shape! You are definitely one of a kind, and I appreciate your work ethic and willingness to share these great videos with others!! Stay strong, brother and stay cool 😎
Same story here in STL 97 degrees today and tomorrow predicted 100 degrees and June is about 2 to 3 inches below average rain fall. I use Hydretain and it works great for me. Run the sprinkler (drag it around.) at least once a week starting at 5:30am till about 10:30am (I'm retired, got all day.) My yard is no where near as large as yours. That darn Nutsedge seems to love Fescue. As you said, too darn hot to spray killer. I'm keeping my Fescue at 4 and a half inches. That's the tallest setting on my new Scag 21 inch walk behind mower. I believe it helps with shading the tuff on those hot afternoons.
Thank you so much for this channel. The sheer size of your yard and the work it takes to maintain it ....... I feel lucky if you posted 1 video a month really. Your logic is sound and I have been subscribed for months now watching your great vids. Your stone beds just rock ......... ;-)
@@terencecah basically. I usually soak my hot spots really good with it and then will hand water it in and then run my sprinklers the next morning to really get it into the soil to try and get the water to move deeper into the soil.
Great video, thanks for the info. Do you apply any type of fertilizer doing the drought, if yes what kind and if not what is the reason? I’m learning a lot from different videos. Thanks
Still looking great Brad....Dealing with the same issues here. Had fungus break out in the back yard so sprayed it today with prop, zoxy & clearys. Pushed a little to hard with the watering due to high temps.
those mini water measuring cups ( rain gauge stakes ) fill up within seconds when i water with a hose , i never understood how to properly handwater my lawn .. over watering/ under watering. Assuming those measurements are out the window once you use the hose , is there a bette way to know how much water is enough when watering with a hose ?
thats one great looking lawn. i'm from europe and we had nonstop rain since october, tomorrow is gonna be the first day with temps above 25 celcius lol.
Figured I’d help the algorithm and throw a comment in, love the yard! Working on a remodel on my two year old new to me house in south Texas unfortunately no one has a south Texas yard channel may try it out if the pots I’m testing right now turn out. Enjoyed your grass for a first time watcher!👍🏻
if mother nature isnt giving water....im letting it all go..... i got grass seed for the fall. chasing in this stupid dry 5 week no rain.....nah.....its not worth it. we got real problems anymore with no rain up in my area of south jersey. its all brown.....
Thanks for the video bud, i know your busy, grass looking good, just want to share what im doing, cutting my tttf at a 4, aerate drier areas with a tow behind aerator, spoon feeding fertilizer, and im using a 2 inch gas pump reduced to 1 inch reduced to 3/4 to give a good soaking every other day, thanks for the video's , cant wait for the next one
Hey Brad, great video.. what's the name of that nozzle? I would like to get one for 3/4, 5/8 normal hose for hand watering.. that thing looks like a beast!
Hey Brad, I’m looking at possibly getting Green T Impulse from Reinders. Once a jug is opened, how long is it good for if kept in the right conditions? Same for a non opened jug? Thanks sir!
Appreciate your content, you make me wanna get on Facebook to keep up on ya. Between your channel and GCI turf as well a few others in my arsenal out here in zone 9b on city irrigation and facing a possible spine surgery im still dominating.

I have had good luck with under hill H2O maximizer pellets.
same, how do you use it? spray for a few minutes and then 1/4 or 1/2 inch of water?

Full up a gallon jug or any other type of container first then pour from that. Using the Hose is just too much like you said

Damn that water pressure is awesome! Just got back from vacation and my front yard was toast. In the recovery process now.
Wow! Obviously the pellet pro is on the way. Quick money spent. I thought I had good city water at 85psi but god damn!!!!

If kept in a climate control probably 2 to 3 years just make sure you shake it well all the time.
@@Primetime_Fescue thanks! I’m thinking that Green T Impulse will be a good addition to run.
@ryanconnor7073 it’s a great product I run it every spray
@@Primetime_Fescue great! Was reading up on it and the benefits of salicylic acid. Thanks again!
Great video and your yard looks great! Mine is burning up here in Virginia but I don’t have irrigation.
If it don’t rain it’s gonna be tough with irrigation lol
