Great review -- as usual! 2 questions: 1. Did you find the back pack straps to be short(er)? How tall are you? 2. Did you find the water bottle pockets to be on the short(er) side? In looking at the video it feels like they are not that deep -- any concerns about a 32 oz Hydroflask/Nalgene sized water bottle falling out? Thanks!
Sorry the delayed reply...needed to get back to the bag and test the bottles out. To answer your questions: 1. no problem with the strap length (I'm 5'9"). 2. Yes, they're on the shorter side but not that big of a problem since there is compression straps right there to tighten anything down. I posted a photo on instagram of the standard Nalgene bottle in that pocket.

I’ve used a dragonfly for summer OBT but it’s a little tight (and not the most comfortable) when overstuffed. Looking at this COB to use instead. Can you comment on the capacity and comfort compared to the DF? This looks like it would handle more weight comfortably.
@@JBOutside1 the shop I went to the other day cross sell me on the 4020x as they only have one unit left. I tried both bags and in terms of the packing size it's pretty similar and somehow I'm more drawn to the CTB26. One of my friends is selling his OD Green CTB26 so im kind of in a dilemma on which limited edition bags to get. I'm looking for a one bag travel and both fits my needs perfectly

There’s more structure to this one for sure. I’d guess very close on capacity. Way different feel and features baked into the 4020X for sure.
Its this one or Able Carry Max, which one can carry the most in the main compartment? So hard to decide which one to go for 😩
That’s a tough call for sure. Both very different in layout. I’m betting very close in how much they can haul

My bag of choice in this size category is the CTB26…but if I need a little more space I’d use the 4020X
