Miss Rossington has a lovely speaking voice, very eloquent and some might say posh but she is, and has always been, a very down to earth lovely person. Great to hear her stories of back in the day.....One can clearly see here she loved her time on the show.
'Crossroads' was treated very badly by TV critics, alot of the other TV programmes in the 70's had exactly the same mistakes as 'Crossroads'. Including 'Coronation Street', 'Crown Court' etc etc. I remember a colour 70's episode of 'Coronation Street' and a camera lens appeared in shot between Violet Carson (Mrs.Sharples) and Jean Alexander (Hilda Ogden) in Hilda's living room! Those vertical and horizontal 'Crossroads' credits were a brilliant idea, unique and in all fairness they often went vertical and then horizontal absolutely perfectly.
Jane was such a classy lady in this, spoke like royalty, I admired her as Jill, and will continue to admire this classy lady.

If Crossroads was still around today, it would have celebrated its 60th anniversary believe it or not!!!!

Crossroads and its stars were treated appallingly at the end (1988) Just as Noele Gordon was 7 years earlier.
