I actually met Jane Rossington (who played Jill) when I was working as a shop assistant in Harrods. She bought a rugby shirt. She was absolutely lovely. I was quite starstruck and excited, but my colleagues had no idea who she was. Lovely lady.
Jane Rossington always comes across as a lovely down to earth woman in interviews. You're lucky you got to meet her. It's so sad that she now has dementia.
I met Sue Nicolls from Corrie with her new husband back a long, in Guernsey in the perfumerie where I worked, She talked very posh but was such a delight , she also was in Crossroads in the early years , I do so miss the old days
I worked for Jane Rossington and went to the studio many times wonderful experience I was nanny to sorrel Jane and David's daughter who was Sarah Jane in show both Jane and David were lovely x
Loved (Jill) Jane Rossington, such a classy actress, I liked the original theme tune by Tony Hatch, the ATV logo at the start, shame that Central stepped in and sacked the star of the show - but that’s life, the show must go on.
I always loved it when McCartney's version played at the end, which was very rare, sort of made up for the punishment I'd just gone through, only having 2 channels back then sucked, BBC2 was like looking into an empty paper bag.
I heard that Roger Tonge [who played Meg Richardson's wheelchair-bound son 'Sandy'] angrily left the series because he was fed up with being pushed around.
People obsessing over this are nuts though. They need to get out more. I saw the ads for Crossroads in 1964 with Meg standing in the street before it all started - and watched it for years. It’s hard to believe it will be 60 years ago next year. Nearly all the original cast are dead. I’m sorry to hear that Jane Rossington has Alzheimer’s.
I don’t know if it was true, but I was told there was a minor accident on the old Zebra crossing by my house in North Wales, and it was a Rolls Royce being driven by Tony Adams with Noelle Gordon in the passenger seat on their way to catch the ferry to Ireland.

I met Tony Adams at the Belgrade Theatre abt 10 yrs ago. Charming and good looking man.
Adam and Jill reconciling and starting all over again towards the end was nice to see. Hehe. Aww. 😃
I loved crossroads I looked at it every day when it was brought back it was not the same

An actor once failed his audition for Crossroads because he remembered his lines.
It was always a treat when you got the Paul McCartney and Wings version of the theme to end the episode
Yes I loved it too
It certainly changed British TV, it's daft story lines, fluffed lines and wobbly sets gave us all a laugh!
My gran loved crossroads
I'd forgotten about the dramatic overdriven lead guitar alternate ending. Thanks you for the memory :-)
I never missed an episode

lol
😂🤣😜. Starring into the void 😂
Crossroads motel is not demolished completely, instead it was built back for the public to visit but never was live except in its anniversary
I always wondered why Meg’s children were so different. Jill was so posh and Sandy was a Brummie through and through.
Luved crossroads sad when it finished X
I heard that Roger Tonge [who played Meg Richardson's wheelchair-bound son 'Sandy'] angrily left the series because he was fed up with being pushed around.
I loved this series
Nice to see again 🙂
The Crossroads Appreciation Society has uncovered the fact that it wasn't Ann George who said the wrong lines in the featured scene.

How lovely .
Sandy i remember A!
All that polyester!!!
That music is enough to make you wanna hide under the table.
Loved the 2001 one the 2003 was terrible.
Me too. I absolutely agree. 😃
Well they didn't really die because in the final ever episode in 2003 it was all a dream
Sandy died in real life from Hodgkin's Lymphoma a kind of blood cancer.
Who says it's closed forever?! 😳😂
We can but hope and pray it never comes back
Who played Sandy in crossroads and what did he die of
Roger Tonge played Sandy and he died of cancer in 1981.
Met Tony Adams years ago, not a nice man at all. Stuck.up
Most of these will be dead soon as well.
All that polyester!!!
No wonder the Motel went up in smoke.❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥🧯
