Aquatic Ambience is my favorite theme in Donkey Kong Country. This is the best remix I have ever heard.

Simply amazing. I had a Polish Step Dad and every day when he came home form work he would play this game and every time I heard this tune, I just couldn't believe how this tune wasn't professionally produced in another way. Well, now it is. Thank you Andrew; beautiful re-creation... I miss my step-dad (Henry), he was a kind hearted, hard working man and a good friend. I love you Henry...

You've managed to invoke the nostalgic side, but also capture the purest essence of David Wise's work. My father was always fascinated with video games and how much they evolve, but him being a musician LOVED the music. When my brother and I would play this game and this level, he always walked in and watched. Said he found it peaceful. I can't wait to show him this.

It's a good thing to find something that can open up your grief. For me it's thinking about losing my dog, and when it's hard to access sadness, I have a special song that reminds me of her and opens up my grief. Glad to be part of that journey for you

@@andrewrecreatormusic3536 RE0's, RE1's, and RE2's are somber and beautiful, you definitely should give them a listen. Same goes for all of them, really, RE3 standing out for, at least to me, giving off a vibe of determination rather than ease.

I’ve stayed silent on this for too long. This recreation... it’s so well made it’s honestly hard not to tear up a little. I’ve watched this well over a year, since right before the K. Rool Reveal, and it still holds up phenomenally.
This was the first I ever made, and I think it will always be the best, because the original is one of the best video game songs ever composed.
I never played this game during my childhood but ever since I found the original song it’s had special place in my heart... this track just pulls me back to reality.

I knew roughly what I wanted, but this was so much better than the version I was trying to find.
It ended up being perfect for helping centre myself when I realised I was having a mild panic attack over something I didnt need to fret over.

Superb. I grew up glued to a 4:3 cathode ray tube TV and DKC 1-3. This song always totally transported me away to an idyllic yet haunting aquatic reef and this reimagining just adds to the mood of the piece. Outstanding.

i am amazed you managed to change the feeling of this song so much without changing the melody or the harmony .this has even deeper atmosphere but is even more motionless at times, but the embellishment on the really bright major sounds in the middle kind of keeping this from being way to somber at the same time, very interesting approach, very sensible execution

There is a very strong case for this being the best song on the DKC soundtrack, this is a really beautiful rendition of the source song and to top it off, it was posted on my birthday 4 years ago as of this posting. Great work, this is really beautiful.
This was such an unexpected type of piece to write for a video game. DKC music pushed the boundaries of what music styles you could use for gameplay

Absolutely beautiful, I used to put this level on my SNES when I was 5 years old to go to sleep. My father was abusive and I'd here him beating my mom's ass while he was on Meth. But little things like this made me happy.

Really amazing remaster. I honestly could not imagine this music being any better than this. The mood you created by the choice of instrumentation and FXs is perfect. I like how you didn't over do it also, you stayed pretty true to the original but made it 20x better sounding!

It's hard to improve on such a stone-cold classic. I thought that Wise had composed the perfect water-level music. Turns out it was just *almost* perfect.
For what he had to work with, David wise created a masterpiece. If he had the technology available that I have... who knows what the original would have sounded like :)
