The word "Karma" means work, when we use word "karma" it's means your life is your making, either you make it joyful or miserable ,it's all up to you .

This is true. When we save lives of smallest to biggest, that karma works on us. I have my own experience. Once I meditated in a Malaysian forest monostry . There I saved animals from hunting people. After all I left to Nepal by an accident. The second day of my arrival to Nepal ,there was a heavy earthquake. By the karma, I was avoided to stay at my friend's house and I stayed in a hotel. . The same day friend's house has collapsed by earthquake and they all dead. Still I can't believe how I was saved. The Karma of mine worked. Not only that I was saved there after eating poisonous fruits . Save animals. Like us, They are also afraid of death. Do not eat innocent animals. Save them as much as you can. bad karma comes behind us like the weel of a bull cart. Wherever bull goes weel has to follow it.
But the good karma never leaves us like our own shadow. At the time of danger it appears to help us. At experiential level I have experienced it not only one time or too. So many times, in the journey of my life.

Lots of people eat meat, but nothing bad happens to them. Good things happen to bad people, about 15 years ago a rapist won millions of £ on the U.K. lottery. So ‘karma’ works in weird ways

The happiness of doing good can't be comparable.
That is true. But the biggest punishment a kind hearted person can get is being unable to do something good at the right time for the right people. The second biggest punishment a kind hearted person can get is being able to help ONLY long time after those who were in need of help have passed away. Then he has to live with that guilt hat he was helpless when they needed help. During that time, he takes the third biggest punishment by being criticized by everyone for NOT doing anything when some people needed help. I am going through the third biggest punishment.

The Buddha never advocated to _remove_ past Karma (that was what the Jains believed in) - he only taught how to lay down the burden of _future Karma_

You are not right completely. Yes Buddha taught how to lay down burden of future karma. He may have advocated to remove past karma or not but he certainly taught ways to make past karma less severe and how to not get in hell(sad situations) skillfully because of past heavy karma.
@@srbhingole8 Very much so. He did teach how to prevent some past karma from ripening! But he did not do so my "canceling out" specifics Karmas, but by undermining the entire process of rebirth
@@TheDhammaHub Lord Buddha has taught that a fool(a person with very low store of merits/good deeds/conduct) will land himself in hell for unwholesome acts of even small level. And a wise has higher storage of merits than demerits. So he has taught things by following of which we won't be that kind of fool but be a wise one in this context. That's what I meant! We are on same page here. :)

I have witnessed many people who have done good things for others, individuals whose lives I closely observed and saw their remarkable goodness. Some of them contributed so much to society that streets were named after them. They faced terrible luck, enduring a wretched fate, dying in poverty, plagued by disease, and at a relatively young age.
On the other hand, I have seen countless politicians who bring doom and destruction upon people, yet they tend to have long, good lives (without much suffering because some of them are psychopaths and sociopaths and don't have any regret or conscious). Honestly, I'm quite convinced that things don't work out exactly as portrayed in this Buddhist story. Many factors are playing in life. However, it serves as a powerful metaphor.
My pastor preached this today and I am hearing it again it means God is trying to tell me I am in the right track thank you so much Jesus

I believe in karma changing our bad life if we do good things in life helping people solve their problems, doing community service to help the poor and needy ones and respect the elderly. When we help we should do with our heart sincerely and honesty.Never look down on the poor . Heip them if u are able to.If u are successful or rich, be humble and generous. Life is short on earth.Whatever u can do to help humanity do it now for u will pass the world once.

I always help people every time when I have chance to do(help about money for poor people,foods,clothes,or even help to take sorrow out from everyone around me who need some advice.
My mom is a nun,my brother is a monk. This way make my heart mercy every life in this world. The rules of good Karma is feel happy before u do and happy when u do and feel happy after u do good Karma will power full…….and when u do good things please feel free and don’t need anything back …….but good deed will give
