This is how I do it, and I hope this could help ones who read this: While meditating, it is important to relax your body and release all the tension. Then you can start taking deep and slow breaths and concentrating on them. The goal of meditation is to end up in a peaceful state where there are no thoughts or emotions, but to have that it is important to let go of any thought that comes to your mind. The key part of meditating is to not put effort in doing exercise. After that there will not be any burden to worry you and you will feel only a bliss. Thank you for reminder, Words of Wisdom!

"Remember: meditate to master yourself" - you can't master a concept, an idea. "yourself" is a conceptual identity(a label). "Don't meditate to master meditation" if you like to cook you can become a master cook. in any practice you can master that thing. But if you want to find the Truth(of who you truly are), just practice meditation and forget about the truth. But this is a final step so no need to explain it. May you reach the final step and be liberated !
2 things i need to say from my experience..!! We dont need any silent place for meditation. Infact louder places makes more sharp meditation.. which we can practice more. 2nd thing.. dont suppress ur thoughts.. its a beautiful thing to watch.. so let thoughts come up bt jst watch them and let it go .. with ur exale. Instead of indulging in it.. these are my opinion. Apart from that.. its nice.. thank you😇
@@inosuke2131 yes it is, if you doing chi gong meditation (tai chi),so in that you have to exhale from your mouth,and if you doing meditation by sitting then you should breathe from your nose 😊👍,ok?

Normally i would find myself unable to focus or trying to focus on too much. But imagining being a gate guard observing traffic is a great tactic.
I managed to have a short out of body experience after just a few attempts. The other important thing to note is to not try to not think about anything because the moment you try to remove your thoughts then you are thinking about it and it just becomes counterintuitive. Your thoughts calming down until they disappear should come naturally and gradually as you just breathe.
