I watched this a while back and finally bought a pack on Amazon and just wanted to come back here and say thank you. I used to use these velcro command strips to hang up my paintings but they were bulky and my paintings would stick out but now they are right up against my walls ☺️☺️ thank you so much
😲 omg! 😊 🙏🏽 😊 thank you for this hack!...I love to paint and feel most comfortable on these flat boards, I've have had folks ask me for my art, but ashamed to give ...because I could not afford frames...this solved my dilemma 😅 so glad I found this post TY
Thank you! I've been looking for these for a few years, but didn't know what they were called! I love the look of flat canvas panels against the walls! Even better than stretched canvas. It needs to be a trend. Thank you thank you thank you!!
Ingenious idea-I have a lot of paintings on canvas panels and I gift some of them so I can add that tab and the gifted does not have to figure out how to hang it! Wow, great, thanks sooo much
Thank you so much for this! I never would have thought to use those things, and have been looking for a way to hang up my paintings without messing up the back.
You have a new subscriber just for this tip. I have been searching for something to hang flat canvases and came across your video and I'm so glad I did. Thank you so much for sharing this. GOD Bless :)
Hi I don't know if you see these comments so many years later but I have used a slightly different homemade DIY... I use a paper clip and bend the top loop just slightly and either tape it on with really strong tape or if I don't have tape, I use paper towel strips and soak the area with elmer's glue with the paper clip under it against the canvas back. Then I use straight pins with the bigger head instead of tacks or nails. That way the landlord never knows that I had anything hanging on the wall 'cause there is no visible hole.
@tandyjoecougler9299 Liquitex Matte Gel Medium makes an excellent glue (I use it for collage but it also works for glueing anything together), very strong. Ordinary glue will detach over time.
I know this video has been posted 3 years ago but my question is do you just screw those metal little gaggets , ill defenally be trying the other trick but i have 24 x30 inch ones a am scared that the platic ones wont hold.
Hi, enjoy watching your video but I have a question.I have just canvas but not on Canvas board so can I just hang canvas itself with any hanger or something on the wall thank you very much!
Hi! Wow this is a great idea! But I went to the link in your bio and the ones it shows aren't 3M and they are the perforated kind that you can tear away. I don't think that's what you have. I think Amazon changed the product for that link which happens sometimes. I can't find a 3M one either. Any advice?
Now edited! As old promos are now over that was shared... thanks so much everyone! So happy this helped you!
I have been searching all over the internet for this! Thank you for this amazing hack!

Or hot glue maybe
Yes I see .. yes I'm sure you can glue something together too.. I'd probably use e6000

Beeen at least an hour on UA-cam trying to find something to hang my canvas panels I just brought some and struggles are real
Perfect!!! What are they called ???
Ty 🎨 see link in the description 😄
Smart!!! thank you
Happy you like it!
Does the canvas sit flush to the wall or does it tilt forward a little since the top of the tab bends? TIA 😊
Yes it may tilt very slightly depending on how far in the nail head is
Have you tried this on slightly bigger panels? I’m trying to work out how I’m going to hang my panels for a gallery show…
Might need 2??
What do you recommend doing to prevent warping of the boards before hanging??
Sometimes if you spritz the back with water you can straighten it back out again.. lay flat with weight to dry
Thank you
love it; thank you!!
Your so welcome 😃
What should I search in Amazon what's the name of it

I have always wanted to paint, since I was a child. I want to try, what would be a good starter paint set? I am a new subscriber, love your paintings.
Ah ty.. definitely see more of my videos I talk about the ones I use.. folkart multisurface and Donna Dewberry brushes
Have you found that the tabs fail over time(fall off)? Should they be reinforced?
As long as they are not too big. 16x20 .. I use 2.. just incase 😌

GET TO THE POINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not to be rude but have you ever tried moving your lips while speaking to be a little clearer? I am partially deaf and it would help a lot.
