If anybody is wondering, the chicken hypnotization is a thing known as "tonic immobility". Essentially it occurs when the animal feels it's in the presence of a predator and attempts to feign death, albeit very poorly.

She can turn the car on, roll down the windows, close the door, then roll the windows up and drive home.
It is easier to close the door from the outside, and you can out your back into it.

the solution here is to roll down the window to reduce the force on the door, then roll the window up once closed.

Well, the ocean does have sharks and orcas that often eat them, so I can definitely see why it needed the break.
As a person who lives in the S.F. Bay Area and grew up watching the sea lions at Pier 39. They're dicks. They do that to each other all the time. I seen many a sunbathing sea lion get knocked into the water because some other rude sea lion wanted that spot. So it really doesn't surprise me that one would do it to a human. And they are huge and loud and temperamental so.....yeah. They'll also steal your catch if you fish near them. But I love watching them do their thing. The craziest thing about them is they didn't show up until around the 1989 earthquake. They found a spot and that's where they are. And everyone was just like "Okay...so that's a thing that happened." If they want it. They're gonna take it. And there is nothing you can do about it.

Believe it or not, in my day, strangers would come over and help you if they saw you were in difficulty. And it was considered rude to laugh out loud. To the point where the laugher might lose some teeth.
