I love how Ganon's theme slowly changes as you climb his tower, then by the time you get to the top it's all organ and Ganondorf himself is playing his own theme while he waits for you. Still gives me chills after all these years lol

@@namename3139 such a golden era. so much charm. and even with limited hardware and “graphics,” games were truly outstanding. I love games today like Last of Us or Hades, but damn theres just something about older titles like the first 3D Zeldas or the huge SNES adventures like DKC or Metroid. They REALLY pushed the limits and gave us such amazing gems with even more amazing soundtracks that leave a lasting impression.

god throwing in in the Eb over the F5 chord while in the D dorian part. This is very very subtle brilliant craft. This is what game composers who try to make light music similar to this miss. There is so much detail and dissonant weird novelties in this whole soundtrack.
