It's Dangerous to go alone...
Take these two classical guitar players
Jack Webb only Sam plays classical guitar
@@TheShachattack13 *guitar players
@@TheShachattack13 steve play classical guitar but he is on the acoustic.
"We guitarists also served the Royal Family, and were assigned to study the hereditary mystic powers of the family"
Real as fuck
I know a lot of people don’t like Zelda 2 (still one of my favorites) but that palace theme is so incredible
Adventures of link is a great game and that theme is epic..
One of the best in the series, IMO. By far the most underappreciated. I think it’s getting a small renaissance, partly caused by the popularity of From Software titles. Much like Dark Souls and Bloodborne, AoL is not nearly as difficult once you get a hang of the mechanics and enemy patterns. I used to never see anyone playing it on Twitch. Now there’s always someone playing it. I’m sure the rerelease of the NES classic helped.
Why don't people like Zelda 2? Because of the difficulty?
Darin Staley yeah the difficulty spike early on. Death mountain happens early and they feel it’s unfair. And people don’t like the overworld and random battles. Some just don’t like the battle mechanics. Oh, and they don’t like the rpg elements of the leveling system and exp points
Darin Staley Usually I hear reasons that don’t hold water today. The difficulty spikes don’t come close to that of any From Software game. You just have to “git gud.”
I also hear that it “strays from the formula” but there was no formula when it came out. It was the second game.
The “cryptic” puzzles are often easily solved by talking to townsfolk. The more complicated ones are still hinted at, and require very little guesswork. A lot of those criticisms are from people who stumbled upon important items by pure luck, without finding the hint first, and assumed that pure luck was the only way to find it.
The RPG mechanics didn’t only introduce the experience system that died with AoL; it also introduced the magic meter that lived on in ALttP, OoT, and MM. Nobody criticizes the magic meter in those games.
Everyone who once hated AoL needs to go back and play it again for the first time. The world wasn’t ready for it. I think it is now.
Koji Kondo will always be my favorite video game composer.
He also wrote the final boss music for yoshis island
He will aways be the Benthoven of videogames
Koji Kondo and Nobuo Uematsu will always be the best of their generation.
I also love Michiru Yamane's music
Marty O’Donnell from the Bungie Halo games. Also in the GOAT conversation
LTTP dungeon tune is very ominus, yet, beautiful.
Very true!
the whole LTTP ost is insanely disgustingly brilliant.
You can thank Japanese composers. This stuff was made 30 years ago and still timeless
Kondo is a legend of video game music. A master
is the best one in the whole franchise and of all time in my opinion
0:48 One eve long ago, I was writing music with a buddy when we stumbled across this bizarre chord shape. We incorporated it into our song, thinking "Who would ever actually use such an outlandish fingering?" Six years later, this video would answer my question.
Dude those arpeggios made my speakers catch fire
I like the mix between steel- and nylon-strings
Then look at a song called Forlorn in Silence by Lord Belial
@@mattwilliamsonguitar Right!?!? I've never heard this sound before, probably because classical guitarists tend to be pretty snobby towards acoustic guitar, but it's like the musical equivalent of sweet and savory.
Goosebumps within 2 seconds of the video.
No, no, silly, Goosebumps was their PREVIOUS video!
Same here..
My fiance got me a ring engraved with "it's dangerous to go alone". That's true love right there. Beautiful work, fellas.
That is remarkable. What a keeper!
Now I wish I did that for my fiance....
Nice!❤️ I have a green rupee tattoo on my ring finger!
It won't last.
Aw shit, here comes the troll, ready to be the asshole
Hats off to this duo. I was thoroughly impressed how well the acoustic guitar delivers those nostalgic tones.
John Hughes It's one acoustic, one classical. :)
god that LTTP dungeon theme. man that is incredible. What a great job. That was one of the best VG music scores of all time.
My God the choice to use both guitars for their different sounds for alternating notes in the intro was creepy as hell and I LOVED IT.
Best dungeon music ever to be made in a Zelda game.
Gave me the goosebumps.
Tristram theme
Im beginning to think that years from now after history is written about our time that VG composer's will be well honored.
I was left speechless to the Zelda II NES song... wow good job!
this is so gooooooooooooooooooooood
Stoopid good
This is sooooooooooo goooooooooood
2:56 I actually got chills. Very nice interpretation.
Anybody else hear the low heart alarm in their head? Esp in Zelda 2. Or as I like to call it "the game that killed me over and over and over......"
I do now! Lol so funny and true.
I do now Lol! So funny and true!
Yes!!!!
Luv that game!
It's like in Wizards & Warriors with its alert music...
You're gon-na die.
You're gon-na die.
You're gon-na die.
Zelda 2 dungeon theme sent chills down my spine! Fantastic work!
This was really cleverly arranged. As always, you're really, really good, you know that?
I love the build up in the Zelda II song. Chills, my dude, chills
The ALTTP light world dungeon theme is one of my favorite video games compositions of all time. What an absolute monster of a cover! I love what you did with that ominous opening, and throughout the whole thing there is so much tone. You guys are a big inspiration, keep up the amazing stuff.
Yeah, it doesn't get enough love. I still need to play aLBW, but it sounds like they did a good job on this one as well.
Not to plug my own shit, but here's an electric version I did of it. Maybe you'll like it! soundcloud.com/rsci/loz-light-world-dungeon-rscimix
@@joshchacon1 pretty sweet I checked it out man good sh!t!
@@joshchacon1 ✔ I dig it
The people who dislike this amazing covers simply hates life and talent. Sad.
Can't imagine how much patience this required.
It makes it soooooo much easier if you're very fond of it to begin with, if it was just for UA-cam ad money then probably not as fun
I don't often comment on UA-cam videos, but guys this is AWESOME!!! Thank you so much for sharing!
Giggling as an adult at 50s in. crazy how music triggers long lost memories
3:55 Holy damn, that's intricate, bros. Some of my favorite stuff from y'all yet! The acoustic chords powering in around 4:10 are triumphant AF, too.
My childhood was being relived as I listened to this wonderful music.
Another beautiful Video.
It's always worth to wait for you guys to make a new Video.
Keep doing what you do!
It’s settled you guys have convinced me to buy an acoustic guitar...
jaykansher87 go for it man! Glad i did it while i was young and learning how to do so made it easier to understand and get into other instruments. Wish i was on a similar league as these guys though 😭😅
So a year ago you said you were buying an acoustic. What can you play?
Last Action Hero nothing yet. I have bought a guitar and I’ve been off and on learning through apps.
AH set some time aside a few times a week and focus on it. You’ll be improving quick if you stick with it.
Last Action Hero Copy that thank you will. Just waiting until I can take some lessons with someone.
I didn't realize until now how much tension is in those dungeon songs.
I never realized how much I needed this in my life... thank you!
Your arrangements and performances are always so inspiring. Absolutely masterful - you are without peer.
I got major chills when the melody came in
Some of the prettiest guitar music I've ever heard.
Man That gave me goosebumps!!!! Beautiful!!! 😭♥️
You led with the best dungeon theme! Loved it in Link Between Worlds and To The Past.
Absolutely amazing!! Your medleys never cease to amaze us and you had us at Zelda! The dungeon themes are so, so good!
As someone who just recently went back and listened to ALL of your previous covers,
this is probably my new favorite. Truly fantastic work, guys!
Acoustic zelda sounds like regular silent hill
Regular silent Hill sounds like acoustic zelda
I was thinking it sounds like a song from Chrono Trigger, around 0:40 and 1:40 at least
Hylian Batman I think it’s partially because the musicians chose to play the songs in minor chords.
@@hotdogge-sports6815 the songs r in minor chords OWO
Just received my ocarina of time cd! Awesome
Stuff
That was so amazing, the music from the Zelda series is so iconic - to hear it in this was was spectacular!
Wow, the quality of the mix only gets better with every video! I hope one day I get to this level of gear and sound! You guys are one of my greatest inspirations!
The first song gave me chills, in a good way. But the original also did. It's pretty intense in its composition.
3:57 poor Sam is getting carpal tunnel doing all the hard word while Steve casually picks out a smooth melody
He rocked that part?
DUDE THIS IS THE EXACT VIDEO I NEEDED
I've been waiting to hear you guys play this!!! Excellent work!!!
This is so dank. You guys inspire me to get better
You are probably drunk
And you are observant.
1 like it's not enough to express how much I love this!
To like is not to love
Neither is 8 but what evs
This is so beyond perfect, you guys are so ****ing good!
This is incredible! You guys made my day!
Way to go guys! I love how you always keep the essence of the original themes. But you also give so much musicality, it's not merely a replication. Please keep it up! Also anyone interested in helping support their awesome videos, click the link for tabs. They have a really cool way set up. Thanks for the music guys. ❤
I didn’t know I needed this in my life but now I’m sure I do. Excellent arrangement and performance the lamps as eyes was a brilliant touch
I click on LIKED before watching the video, you never disappoint guys. As always, great work!!
Greetings from Brazil!
Nearly had me in tears or nostalgia here.....simply amazing. The 'adventure of link' dungeon theme is so beautifully done guys. Have the devs for zelda at nintendo heard/seen you play? I'm sure they would feel the same as I do right now.
Matt Gillespie , Zelda 2 dungeon music is still some of very favorite from any Zelda game ever.
How does 78 people dislike this? They are just mad they can't shred like these dudes.
Y'all make me want to break my guitar into pieces though. But you guys rock \m/
They've probably never played a LoZ game
Agree with you they are talented but come on man there is no shred in this vid
Oh the many hours I have spent listening to this music in the late 80's and early 90's.
The light world dungeon theme is so beautiful ! Great video !
Thank you for this, lovely arrangement, loved the LttP theme! Please do an arrangement of some BotW soundtracks (most are prime for acoustic guitary goodness!)
I love listening to them play together! I love that tune, in "A link to the past" it was awesome.
Greetings from Monterrey, Mexico. Hasta pronto, amigos!
Agree, that one in particular is not covered nearly enough. Good stuff.
Bloody hell! That Zelda II segment had me replaying that part wayyy too many times! Thanks for the music. Always.
Phenomenal!!!!! The scales and the way you both time everything in between is just awesome!
i would love to hear you guys do castlevania 2 Simon's quest! That game may not have been great but the soundtrack was! :)

This should be the Dungeon music in an HD remake of the original game.
Long time follower/fan here. Never stop doing these! I also love your solo videos but it’s really nice to see you guys playing together again. Plus, this selection of melodies is freaking great, some of my favs all in one. Amazing as always.
This was probably the best interpretations of these songs I have ever heard. Keep up the good work! Sooooo good!
Ganon will ressurrect for not include 'The Great Temple'(Zelda II) in the medley!
But was awesome!!

@UCBbDBHIA-iOHF-NsqWBjIig this one is from regular palaces, the final has a different song.

So much tension and atmospheric. Love the duet!

Oh god... They’re not looking at each other... THEY HATE EACH OTHER!!!!
Oh man, I LOVE it. Great arrangement and playing - very glad to have found your channel!
Super dope my guy! Always the best content from you man!
If you play this medley in your earbuds when going out to the COV19-infected stores, like Wal*Mart and Target, it really creates a sense of danger and foreboding. Stay safe out there, gamers. Remember, it’s dangerous to go alone. Take this: *holds up TP roll*
What a crock of Shit.
😂lol
Dude…..
Yeah cause an above average flu was really something to shut down the world for right?
thanks to Danny Sexbang?
Oh god that was delightful. Love your sound; the way you guys play so gently, but so passionately. I miss seeing your stuff; nice to know ya still post from time to time.
