Many thanks for your comment BeerAnd BarreChords. Few views probably is due to very high competition in UA-cam English channels and in this field of knowledge. Organic growth is very difficult and slow when you don't have a big audience of followers coming from external social networks. If you are thinking of building anything in UA-cam either you must bring an audience with you or get lucky.

Thank you for sharing this video. I have a two family unit that I would like to divide. Question does this submeter send the divided usage to the water company for individual billing or would I still receive one bill and have to divide based on usage?

Hi Rich Girl, it all depends on how things are done in your country. In Chile, each home has a street number and a number in the properties register. If a property is legally subdivided into 2, it should have 2 distinct numbers in the registry, and the water company should produce 2 different bills, one for each. On the other hand, if the division is informal, and you modify the existing meter connections you might get into a legal problem with the water company. If the division is informal (i.e. a backyard house; a doddy house) you should approach your water company, explaining your intentions and surely they have a solution (if you pay for the meters and install).

Why did they have to remove the left over water in the pipe? Is it because it would have been contaminated?

You can't solder copper pipes when they have water in them, the water contributes to surface oxide and solder not melting properly.
