One of best train rides in the world! We need some video of the gorge(although having ridden the route, I would think it's hard to find good places to shoot video)! Thanks! Was fun reliving it!! ...Claude
Thank you so much! The C&TS is most certainly one of the best on the planet! I would’ve loved to shoot Toltec Gorge, but that section of the railroad is really only shootable on a photo charter. On my next trip out west, I’ll be doing a photo event at the Cumbres & Toltec for sure, and finally shoot all the really hard to access locations (Cascade Trestle, Rock Tunnel, Phantom Curve etc.). I’m very glad you enjoyed the video!
Thanks! The best way is to hike in from Cumbres, about a 5-10 minute walk depending on what shot you want. My advice is to stay alert and keep your distance up there. A lot of the shots in that area are tight, and it’s important to be respectful of the railroad.
A fantastic video from the Cumbres & Toltec narrow gauge railway. Thanks for showing and have a nice Christmas time.
The C&T is, by far, the most beautiful steam ride. Michael
My god... such an awesome sound! Great video, with excellent footage 🙂
Thank you!

Great video! How did you make it up to Windy Point? Was it pretty easy? I’m wanting to do that shot pretty soon and just wondering.
