- I lost power to sleeper accessories. No power to sleeper lights, A/C Fan, and fridge. I show you my diagnostic troubleshooting process to find the problem. This is generally caused by a faulty low voltage disconnect LVD or mega fuse.

I'm going through the same problem With this 2018 International Lt I'm going to check that mega fuse I just hate paying a dealership several hundred bucks just for a 5 minute fix then they hold your truck for hours as though they're working hard on it

I'm having slow charging issues with my 3 inside batteries on my Freightliner. It's a Matco Tool truck. I've cleaned off all the battery posts. However, it still won't charge very fast. It charges well when I have it plugged into my house power outlet. Would be a cable somewhere?
2020 Pete 579, what I can check by myself: in my opinion in my truck don’t work lvd system. After 24-36 hours off duty my battery is dead. The system should disconnect everything and keep power for start the engine. So what I can check before I will go to the Peterbilt service?

I just got the LVD msg but my voltage gauge on the dash is at 12-14. Now my check engine light is on. Any help would be appreciated. I think I may need to replace my batteries. The truck takes longer to turn over when cranking it each day

Good to know I got the lvd notification on dash although my batteries were the cause had to replace all 4 of them bc voltage was below 12.4
Mines has a 150 amp fuse.
I bought the truck , it came that way.
My junction box was located in the battery box.
My truck cranks but doesn't turn on and then after more trys it turns on.
So I'm currently trying to find the issue.
Ever figure it out, I have the same issue, and cab lights not working too.
@Chuck Brewster my issue was the battery disconnect solenoid.
It was faulty. It's located in the battery box on the right on my truck.
Cost 300 bucks and 200 to replace.
I chose to just by pass it. My truck started everytime after that. Good luck and let me know if that's what it was.

My bunk ac not working. Checked every fuse and they are fine. There's no power on the ac fuse. 2013 Peterbilt 587.

I see you have the Cummins I’m having same issue except I have the Paccar engine and there’s no mega fuse on the fire wall I can locate or under the bunk any ideas I really need to get my refrigerator working properly instead of me pulling a relay losing my bunk lights but then fridge works

My bunk power works only when the truck is running not when it’s off. I cut the truck off, within minutes there is a beeping noise then power to the bunk shuts off.

I have a KW 2015 I got a problem with the ac on the bum it’s blowing air but doesn’t cool down anybody can help me
i havent drove my truck for day & a half at a truck stop i turned the engine on for 20 minutes to charge battery and then 2 to 3 hours later i got the low voltage disconnect but. i didnt have any lights on or anything charging though... confused new driver by the way

Check in the battery box. I have a pete and it was in the battery box. Not in the same position as his.
What if the mega fuse is super dirty. The LVD in the sleeer keeps ticking

@@davidkattan1275 i just cut the original wire supplying power to the fridge switch on the bunk and put a wire from the batteries to the switch with a fuse just in case something happened and that fix my fridge problem
Would that mega fuse cause the alternator to not put out proper voltage?

I own a 2015 T660 and have power to the bunk, the only thing is the ac will kick on and off... so that is telling me the fuse is good. What could it be ? Any help would be appreciated

It cost $5 at oreillys that fuse I just bought me spare one just in case
You can also save yourself a ton of power draw by switching all of your light bulbs from incandescent to led.
Where do you find the led bulbs for sleeper bunks ?
We best carry spare megafuses lol
