I got a question, what red lights are supposed to light up during normal operation? I got solenoid and alternator light on when its running. Is it normai?

Thanks it gives me something to check tomorrow cuz my low voltage disconnect come on and when I start the truck it goes off and stays off, so it’s an intermittent thing but starting to happen daily

The truck that I drive has a 2 yr old apu carrier Screen says dam if you do dam if you don’t Check the trouble shooting settings in the book says don’t touch take to the dealership your not a mechanic

Mine did this exact thing and I took it over to Carrier. I spoke with the technician directly and he said the sensor was bad so he replaced it along with the wire that attached to it. Been working fine ever since so far.

Please Someone can suggest what to do with my international LT625 2020 's Bunk heater run for less then 2 hours then all the lights go shutt off although I changed batteries. But still facing the same issue. I spoke to dealership they suggest to use deep cycle batteries.. Is it true? Thanks

Quick Question, anyone you know this: ... Little background: since Oct 2022, I started a Cargo Van delivery. I am basically thinking delivery regional mostly. Stay in the state but maybe surrounding states. Ok Question: To have this delivery company, Would I need Mc/US DOT number?. I keep asking & all I get is the runaround. As it stands now, I already lost money. So just wondering if would this apply to Cargo Vans? , I mean I get the fact with the USDOT number, you can go state to state, but for any vehicles or just Rigs?... Thank You, any comments from the man posting or others on here would be greatly appreciated... Happy New Year

Where is the oil pressure sensor located

I'm having slow charging issues with my 3 inside batteries on my Freightliner. It's a Matco Tool truck. I've cleaned off all the battery posts. However, it still won't charge very fast. It charges well when I have it plugged into my house power outlet. Would be a cable somewhere?

Okay Robert the heat sensor for where it overheats has been replaced the thermostat has been replaced but every time I turn on the AC unit itself it shuts off both oil and coolant are full? What's next

2020 Pete 579, what I can check by myself: in my opinion in my truck don’t work lvd system. After 24-36 hours off duty my battery is dead. The system should disconnect everything and keep power for start the engine. So what I can check before I will go to the Peterbilt service?

I broke mine inside it was tighten almost all the way, took hell of time to find right person to take it out.

i havent drove my truck for day & a half at a truck stop i turned the engine on for 20 minutes to charge battery and then 2 to 3 hours later i got the low voltage disconnect but. i didnt have any lights on or anything charging though... confused new driver by the way

Mine doesn’t even have the red sensor

The temperature sensor and several other issues can be caused by a bad ground. The temperature sensor is just a switch that opens at a designated temperature to interrupt a circuit by removing the ground. If you have a test light connect the clamp end to a 12 volt source and touch the probe end to the terminal on the temperature sensor. Your test light should be lit. If not make sure the sensor is grounded by touching the probe to the base of the sensor. If you don’t get light corrosion or too much thread sealer has insulated the sensor from ground. Attach a jumper wire to a good ground and clamp it to the base of the sensor and again check it with your test light or just start your apu and see if it runs. Just grounding the wire to the sensor will make it run but if it does overheat it won’t shut down….so don’t!

I work on these all the time in my fleet two well 3 are sensor or the wire or both and the fuel pump top of fuel pump have one way valves and they wear out and allow fuel you flow back out of line or the factory clamps allow air in the line other then the small problems its a good unit
