Bruh, I just finished the seaweed farming for 99 crafting and thought to myself: "Hell yeah, 99 crafting, here I come", and completely forgot about the fact that I needed to grind for sand, let alone the actual crafting part. I guess it's a couple more weeks 😅 Thanks for the motivation man, it truly helps
Currently doing a first time playthrough with a friend in a duo GIM who played when he was younger. I have so much ambition to max out slayer, magic, herblore, and runecraft even to understand the feeling of what people mention of their first 99 but honestly I can't complain, OSRS is the first game I actually enjoy flipping back and fourth between wiki pages, actually reading and feeling engaged rather than another MMO's wiki leaning more into more generic pages. Amazing content brother, thanks for keeping me motivated on this blind journey!
2277, Achievement Diary is definitely a huge motivation to get skills higher. I’ve gotten so many levels and quests done just to get Hard Diaries done. Made it to total level 1900 yesterday and base 70s. My favorite thing to do right now is Guardians of the Rift. RuneCrafting while doing that mini game is so fun. I hope someday to max but like you said I’m a regular dude with other responsibilities in life that pull me away from playing. I’ve taken many breaks in the past few years. But I came back again about a month ago and me and a long time friend have been playing a ton when we can! For me the biggest game changer has been mobile, I felt like I could never play on my PC enough. But with my current job, I travel all over and end up being at job sites or waiting on quotes to get approved. It’s so easy to log in, do a farm run, bird house run, motherlode mine, wood cutting, etc. You can stop and come back. You don’t need to be home to play now. It’s freaking great and now I feel like hey maybe in a few years, I may actually max or be very close. GZ on maxing and I appreciate the content!

Ignoring the Firemaking (seems to be a majority of irons first 99), you did a ton of afk skills but that’s because you were in school. I started my iron during covid and my first 99 is looking to be either Magic or Strength (I skipped WT) since my goal is to rush PvMing so I’m doing a ton of Slayer.

I might get mining and runecrafting as my first 99s on my group ironman because of motherlode mine and guardians of the rift. Both of those features made these skills a lot more enjoyable for me, I currently sit at 91 and 82 respectively.
Man I am happy for ya maxing an Ironman is insane! You’re making me want to make a Hardcore Ironman and max it! I am an RS3 player that has come over to OSRS and has really enjoyed my time but I am using my RS3 account to come over. I think if I make a separate account I would have a lot of fun doing this. Just taking my time with it. I am going for Trimmed Comp in RS3 though so a lot of my time is on that but maybe if I make the account early and just do some simple things on it I can take it at my own pace. I do want the Achievement Diary cape on my main OSRS account with max combat too. That way I can get used to killing certain bosses and doing certain quests that way I don’t die on the Hardcore. What do you think?

I started playing OSRS around 3/4 months ago and i've been grinding every day for many hours and i'm currently at 1824 total lvl. I gained 65m xp so far and achieved my first 99, ranged :)
I’m doing 90 herblore now and it’s so expensive! Getting 99 in a skill should be profitable and reward you with GP the higher your level is instead of costing me 50m for 90 herblore. Just like my 99 farming costed millions and it’s not profitable in anyway. Doesn’t make sense this game is set up ass backwards when you think about it.
I got 99 atk then str def and hp and I refused to get any other 99 until I was ready to max I got everything within 1 action to hit 99 and I did a max train. Got everyone lined up in a row and walked from lumbridge to varrock around the ge then walked to falador the entire time hitting 99s and finished with agility on the wall by the bank in falador. We all went to the party room for a drop party. Which someone stole my 10 mil I was going to drop for it but oh well
Can anyone recommend me Combat stats? I have 3 quests left to get my untrimmed Quest Cape. The quest I have left are A Night at the Theatre, Dragon Slayer II and Song of the Elves left. My current Combat stats are 77 Att, 84 Str, 73 Def, 78 Range, 81 Hp, 70 Pray and 76 Magic. Any advice I'd much appreciate.

Also what else is BS is that putting herbs into vials doesn’t gain xp neither does crushing bird nests. It’s like they do all they can to make this game take years to max so they can keep draining your bank account for membership or bonds. Idk just seems to get a little absurd after a while when it takes more real life effort into a game then you get for your real life job or work yo do. This is a game and the game shouldn’t take more real life time to do then your real life. Idk just ranting
