Without looking at the lyrics, it's easy to see where Christian folk could see this as "evil" or "satanic", however with reading the lyrics, it's actually just talking about the feelings of being alone due to pursuing your own dreams and aspirations. As well along that journey you're going to encounter fake people and it can make you question their loyalty to you or their own needs due to your success. It's the agony of acquiring fame and success being associated with the shitty human elements around us and potentially how bitter/distrustful it can make us.

usually churches that aren't churches anymore, due to the loosing of fidels...but the building is repurposed in community center, gym and circus ( acrobats) school recreational centers or even venues for Shows...sorry for my boring answer :p

Although I feel the song could have been shorter. Maybe I've outgrown this stage for me it was Black Daliah Murder, Cannibal Corpse, White chapel, Job for a Cowboy, Behemoth, Oceano, and now I'm more into Old Arch Enemy, Old Opeth, Insomnium, Kalmah, Dream theater and Conquering Dystopia (highly recommended for quality instrumental Melodic Death metal) so more progressive and melodic stuff. And even then I would especially seek out the instrumentals without the vocals because I'm getting into music production for instrumentals. I guess the older I get the more my taste change and it's interesting to see what the newer generation is into now and it's always been about the breakdowns, energy, and theatricals, so I get it yet it's interesting to me haha

slower volume of releases from deathcore bands compared to 2017 but quality-wise, I agree, top-tier music this year for sure
I do: Aversions Crown, A Night In Texas, Rings of Saturn, Emmure, Oceano, Fit For An Autopsy, Within Ruins, Martyr Defiled, So This Is Suffering, Winds of Plague, Through The Eyes Of The Dead, Widowmaker, A Trust Unclean, Signs Of The Swarm just to name a few, I can go on and on lol. 2017 was an excellent year for deathcore. Some of the bands you mentioned had killer releases in 2017 too.

All those bands you mentioned were already in my deathcore playlist since release on Spotify lol. And I love Spite! They matured so fast for a “newcomer” band and they do the whole downtempo/nu-metal deathcore style the right way.
Gotta give props to Alex for trying his best at English. I know it's not his first language and it's difficult for him to formulate proper English sentences, as well as properly convey his ideas in English. Amazing vocalist and amazing musicians, all of them! Brutal song as always lol so sick.
He actually enunciates way better in this track than he does Demolisher, which is odd.
Also I feel like in a certain way his translations come out kind of eloquent at times!
