The 2102 puts on her usual show with the first Iron Horse Ramble of 2024. The next two trips are highly anticipated, as they'll see the engine travel up to Pittston from Nesquehoning for the first time since her most recent restoration. Enjoy and stay tuned =)

Those hikers could have hardly picked a worse place or time to cross the tracks (pretty dangerous as well, considering the train was already moving toward them). As a matter of fact, were they trespassing on the R&N's property? I didn't think you could walk across like that. 2102 is impressive as ever though.

To access the hiking trail, you have to cross the tracks. R&N allows this as long as you are not interfering with their operations or endangering yourself.

In which I’m pretty sure they did. And even if not illegal, they sure messed with a lotta shots.

Re. Shots thing, that’s to be expected in any photography hobby. There’s always going to be clueless individuals milling about unless you’re at a paid charter where attendance is monitored. Just something you get used to. It’s not like they blocked anything spectacular in this instance anyway; the wind blew all the exhaust smoke in front of the engine lol.

@@FanRailer Yeah. It’s annoying, but, you get used to it.
