I am an old img yog 2018. I gave step 1 in April 2022, unfortunately failed. Are there any chance of me matching. Should I even try. I am study for it again. I'm hoping to give it in Jan-feb
yes many students end of matching after Step failure. USCE/research will help

when did he match? 2022? if yes how is he an old YOG? what is the definition of old YOG?
Mostly more than 3 year YOG. some programs consider >5

I would say that Old yog is usually who has graduated more than 10-15 years ago
Plz don’t call yourself as old img
Otherwise people who graduated 15-20 years ago will think that they are ancient
I graduated in 2020.. Gave step 1 last year..i am planning to apply in 2023-24 match.. Will i be considered old grad? Please answer
Any precedent of doing research as an international medical student i.e before graduating?
Ofcourse. Many countries have research options like icmr projects for indian students or you can try our remote courses that we offer with US publications
