Today I carved my first spoon, inspired entirely by your channel. Everything about these videos is so peaceful. I decided to try how carving actually feels in practice, and wow, it really is meditative. Thank you for a lovely new hobby.
I’m really happy to hear you picked up a knife and created something inspired by my videos! Hope it will work well for you and you’ll have lots of fun 😁
Great video. I've learned through my own carving journey to use whatever knife is comfortable for you. I appreciate your videos and am always inspired to start a new project, thank you again.
This is much more than an how to channel, but i think it would be nice to see a video on tool up keep, sharpening and such. In my experience its just as much a meditative process on the carving itself. I would be interested to see your take on it. Cheers!
I've been watching your videos and they're just great. Watching you carve the wood is so relaxing, so I decided to buy some knives, but they aren't sharp enough to carve the wood like you do. How do you sharpen your knives? A tutorial would be great. Greetings from México 🇲🇽.
I really liked watching this video. You are creative🌷🌷🌷🌷. So what is the best type of wood for making kitchen utensils such as spoons, cups, plates, or anything else?
Well it depends where you’re living and what are the local rules of the park/forest. I know many places that it’s allowed to take fallen pieces that are found on public ground. Though I just always try to be respectful, only collecting fallen trees that are not marked, I take a small piece that won’t make much a difference. Usually the logs I collect from end up being rotten to the ground 😅
I wish I could trade places with the dog. It would be a therapy session

Thank you for your kind words 😊🙏🏾 I’m actually making a video at the moment on how I sharpen my tools, hope it won’t take too long to finish 😅
Exactly what I was waiting for 😍
Great videos 🤟
Great vid, may favourite is also without music, only carving songs :)
I actually planned to make it without music but I had some issues with the mic so the sound wasn’t good enough to stand alone 😅

Thank you😊🙏🏾 I would say for anything that will touch water avoid using porous trees like oak and ash. I like to use maple, cherry, plum and birch(:
according to himself, the dog is not getting enough attention
Very nice video, can you post a new video?
I’m working on a feather pendant project (:
@@nadavartandwood I'm looking forward to it
can you just take wood from public places ?
