    I wish I could trade places with the dog. It would be a therapy session

    Today I carved my first spoon, inspired entirely by your channel.
    Everything about these videos is so peaceful. I decided to try how carving actually feels in practice, and wow, it really is meditative. Thank you for a lovely new hobby.

      I’m really happy to hear you picked up a knife and created something inspired by my videos! Hope it will work well for you and you’ll have lots of fun 😁

    Great video. I've learned through my own carving journey to use whatever knife is comfortable for you. I appreciate your videos and am always inspired to start a new project, thank you again.

    This is much more than an how to channel, but i think it would be nice to see a video on tool up keep, sharpening and such. In my experience its just as much a meditative process on the carving itself. I would be interested to see your take on it. Cheers!

      I actually planned to make it without music but I had some issues with the mic so the sound wasn’t good enough to stand alone 😅

    I've been watching your videos and they're just great. Watching you carve the wood is so relaxing, so I decided to buy some knives, but they aren't sharp enough to carve the wood like you do. How do you sharpen your knives? A tutorial would be great.
    Greetings from México 🇲🇽.

    I really liked watching this video. You are creative🌷🌷🌷🌷. So what is the best type of wood for making kitchen utensils such as spoons, cups, plates, or anything else?

      Thank you😊🙏🏾 I would say for anything that will touch water avoid using porous trees like oak and ash. I like to use maple, cherry, plum and birch(:

    can you just take wood from public places ?

    • @nadavartandwood
      @nadavartandwood  2 місяці тому +1

      Well it depends where you’re living and what are the local rules of the park/forest. I know many places that it’s allowed to take fallen pieces that are found on public ground. Though I just always try to be respectful, only collecting fallen trees that are not marked, I take a small piece that won’t make much a difference. Usually the logs I collect from end up being rotten to the ground 😅
